750 c&c from City Beer in SF. Pours hazy ripe peach with a 3 finger creamy white head. Aroma is floral, with what seems a peach fruit aroma! Med + body. Flavor is florally bitter with some light stone fruit and citrus over somewhat earthy malt. Earthy malt? Must be hop jumping in there. There is malt, but the hops are oh so much more important. Very nice. jtclockwork (17069) - , New Jersey, USA - DEC 23, 2011
Bottle. Pours cloudy gold with white head. Nose/taste of dried pineapple husks, bready caramel malt, citrus and perfumy hops. Medium body. Dry bitter finish. after4ever (8025) - Mukilteo, Washington, USA - DEC 21, 2011
750, corked and baled. Pours a cloudy orange-ish medium amber with a dense and creamy, pillowy white head. Lots of eggy white lace around the top. Big pushy grapefruit nose, very pithy and penetrating. Creamy medium body with lively carb. Mid-palate shot through with grapefruit; on top of the usual toast and caramel is a huge tsunami of heavy sharp pithy grapefruit peels. Strong sharply acidic finish. Oily and tasty. A bit out of balance but an interesting and successful effort overall. markas101 (2487) - Ann Arbor, Michigan, USA - SEP 11, 2011
65 cl bottle, Sheffield, UK via the Marble Arch Pub in Manchester, Issie’s 5th birthday. Slightly hazy amber-gold colour (haze perhaps from an overpour of yeast). Thick frothy head. Resiny-spruce aroma, some definite fire back there. Not overly cloying, bright then a long dense pepper infused finish. thirdeye11 (6162) - Dallas, Texas, USA - SEP 6, 2011
(750ml bottle best by 9/2012 thanks to bu11zeye) clear medium yellow, effervescent bubbles and a fine khaki colored head. Nose of delicious fresh spearmint, eucalyptus, light citrus, very unique nose. Taste of oranges, melon, light bitterness and grapefruit. Bitter linger. A very unique and enjoyable IPA.

I think this was the first ’foreign’ Vuur & Vlam I drank. Great idea to see what different brewers do with a recipe. This beer was very bitter, with a long finish. Very nice hoppy grapefruit taste. Very good. Dixonian (1562) - Plano, Texas, USA - JUN 2, 2011
750ml bottle thanks to bu11zeye.
Deep golden pour with a soapy white head. Aromas of grass, spice, and orange - taste of citrus and hay with quite a bitter finish. Koelschtrinker (21064) - K?ln (Cologne), GERMANY - MAY 17, 2011
Ausgewogen, süß-hopfig, rund. Störend ist lediglich die Säuerlichkeit. Gut! 6/11/12/11/8/11

Bottle from The Marble Arch, Manchester. Poured pale gold with a bubbly white head. Nice fresh hop aroma. It’s nice enough and I did enjoy it and would drink it again. Compared to some very stiff opposition in it’s class though, doesn’t really hit the high notes. Tasty though. bu11zeye (13140) - Frisco (Dallas), Texas, USA - APR 8, 2011
(750ml bottle) Pours a lightly hazy golden body with a medium off-white head. Aroma of perfume, Peeps candies, orange, and melon rind. Flavor of citrus, earth, and grass with a dry, bitter finish.
