weaselkenievil (1608) - Cheshire, ENGLAND - APR 21, 2014
Bottle at the Marble Arch, Manchester. Cloudy orange brown like a cloudy slug, good fluffy white head. Quite hoppy, lemons, grapefruit, quite dry. Enjoyed it although there are better in the style.

Theydon_Bois (22101) - Hazlemere, the lower Xhitlerns, Buckinghamshire, ENGLAND - NOV 9, 2013
Bottle, from Tomlinsons Inverness, on the train from Inverness to Hereford 21/10/13. Hazed orange amber with an off white covering. Nose is tangy citrus fruit, peach, yoghurt, touch of yeast, straw, lemon rind, light spice. Taste comprises orange squash, soapy notes, toasted malt, wheat notes. Medium bodied, moderate carbonation, tarte fruit finale. Came across more saison like than a weizen, a little too much soap also, probably the poorest showing I’ve had from Marble but still a drinkable enough effort.

Bottle at gig, poured in to plastic cup. little to no carbonation or taste slightly sour with occasional yeasty notes pretty dull stuff. Paid through the nose for it.

ianwelby (1625) - SCOTLAND - MAR 29, 2013
Cloudy straw ale with a thin head which quickly dissipated though I may have poured it wrong. Sweet, fruity aroma. Taste is grapefruit and it has a spicy twang to it, with a hit of sweet hop flavour on the tongue. Slight hoppy backtaste.

zacgillbanks (5772) - Tyne & Wear, ENGLAND - MAR 17, 2013
Bottle from Coppers, Newcastle. Hazy golden coloured with tart spicy lemon flavours, citrus notes and a slight sour finish.

Cloudy gold beer, good white head. Crispy palate, airy and a little dry. Frothy wheat malt with a bubblegum streak. Hops dominate though - bitterish orange, fresh and minerally. Bubblegum returns before the finish. Interesting and refreshing.

Snegurochka (397) - Tromsø, NORWAY - DEC 8, 2012
Thanks Rune for sharing a 500ml bottle at Marble Arch Inn. Enormous rocky foamy head. Muddy yellow body. Gushing. Banana, sweet hops and apple peel aroma. Very carbonated. Tastes sweet banana, mango, peach with a hint of lemon. Fruity. All in all a bit too carbonated as it kills the taste. (Manchester 5.Jul.2012)

Scopey (16804) - Croydon, Greater London, ENGLAND - OCT 6, 2012
Keg at Marble Arch Inn. It pours cloudy orangey yellow, thin white head. The nose is wheat, dough, faint spice, fruit syrup, apricot, mango and sweet tangerine. The taste is sweet orange, tangerine, grapefruit, light spice, wheat, leaf and green banana, with a dry finish. Medium body, fine carbonation and slightly sticky mouth-feel. Good fruity weizen.

Bottle at De Molen. Poured a cloudy light straw with a big frothy head. Some fruitiness in the aroma. Lots of acidity and sourness in the flavour. Served cool and very refreshing. I enjoyed it and would drink it again. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone
