Straw yellow pour with thick, white initial head. Malt upfront with good Belgian aromas. Taste is peachy fruits with clove and soft malts. Good spice on the finish.

Tap at Blind Tiger. Golden beer with a thin white head. There is a very fruity/spicy aroma, pale malt with a fruity and fairly earthy yeast. Banana, clove and apple/peach. There is a light Belgian malt flavour as well. Spicy and fruity sweetness wiht a touch of pepper on the finish. Its a fairly simple beer with a Leffe-ish quality to it. Ok, but its a bit hot for my liking.

Wonderful Belgian beer. Pours a nice amber color with a huge head. Lightly hoppy and some fruit noticeable. This is a really nice "high class" beer in my opinion. I loved it.

330 mL bottle. Clear golden amber with a small fluffy white head. Aroma is sweet and flowery with a hint of honey. Thick sticky palate. Taste of honey, nectar, and a sweet flowery finish. The alcohol is nicely masked, but provides a little warmth in the throat. Well balanced over all and quite good.

a nice dark gold appearance with a nice depth for a triple. the taste is that of a classic belgian triple with some solid complexities and a very well balanced finish. not the best triple i have had, but very good

Very musky, bready - very belgian. Flavor is sharp, peppery. Effervescent palate. Overall, quite well-rounded and robust.

This beer impressed by being both a pretty tasty beer and fairly different from other tripels Ive had. The beer is spicy (typical) but this spice is balanced by a citrus sweetness that I found very well balanced. My notes also contain the phrase "the opposite of mellow," which I remember thinking as praise masked as criticism. Combine this with the fine carbonation and smooth mouthfeel that secondary fermentation can provide, and you have yourself a winner. This beer poured a dark straw color with a very white head. Aroma was a lot of clove combined with some zesty citrus notes. Taste was very clovey with a touch of sour. The remark in my notes "the opposite of mellow" remind me that I thought this beer was "big" but also had potential for those who age beers to become something more complex in time. A nice beer, and definitely recommended.
