A really nice brew which I had on tap last night at the Malt House: Pours a bright golden colour, well carbonated with a big white head. Aroma is very pleasent. Lots of floral, citrus and fruit forward notes on the nose. Taste is sort of spicey, with generous amounts of wheat, orange and yeast. Creamy, fruity and very filling beer. 1984- Good year! The year of the Travis. Grzesiek79 (4297) - Radom, POLAND - MAR 25, 2012
dough, cheese, cooked vegetables, vanilla, licorice, golden, amber, cloudy, white foam, medium sweetness, medium bitterness, heavily sour, medium body, sticky, average carbonation, davidm (2080) - Sunnyvale, California, USA - DEC 28, 2012
Bottle from Cookie. The ugly sister of Maredsous, but still remarkable. Aromas of cereal, dumped clothes, hints of caramel and honey. Taste is sweet, with light bitter and sour notes, long length. Palate is velvety, and medium bodied. Amber, with a frothy head. jebert (500) - Watertown, Wisconsin, USA - JAN 8, 2013
Pours a cloudy pale gold with a huge head of white-tan foam. Nose is of yeast and bread. Very creamy on the palate, the taste is fruity, with some yeast overtones, light malt, and a slight puckering feeling at the finish. A complex beer with a very satisfying taste. Great alone of can be paired with light cheeses or fondue.
