Bottle from intermarche Lagos Portugal. Pours brown with reddish hue. Thin film of a head. Aroma is nuts, dark fruit, plum, oak, slightly whiskey. Flavour is plum, raisin, cherry with hints of oak whiskey finish. Pretty smooth and medium body. Short earthy finish. Tasty.

Pours a large amount of foamy light brownish head. Has a brown coppery appearance. Pretty thick lacing. Aromas of Belgian yeast, wheats, light roasted malts and toffee. Flavours are dark roasted malts, mild toffee, nuts and toasty malts. Very mild earthy type hops, also notes of resin and spice hops all in the mix. Fairly slick and drying mouthfeel with a mild warming sensation. Lively carbonation. Full bodied. Goes down very well. Very good stuff.

On tap. Black colour with ruby reflexes, large head, beautiful lacing. Aroma is heavy caramel. Light sweetness. Medium body, feels cloying. I don’t like it, reminds me of Baltic porters.

Pours deep dark reddish brown with medium white head. Aroma is coffee and roast barley. Coffee, toasted barley and hoppy flavour. Sweet flavour - caramel tones. Very tasty but unfortunately my 2 year old spilled most of it on the floor - disaster!!

Super dark reddish brown pour from draft at bitter pops. Earthy and some dank fruit flavors. Wood and some malts. Not bad for this style.

330 ml bottle. Pours with a nice brown color and a nice off-white head. Lots of caramel in the nose. Followed by malts and nuts. Nice flavours of caramel, raisins, dried apricot. Some fruity / citurs at finish.
