Clear bottle from Paula. Pours very light gold with a few white bubbles. LIght grassy aroma. Flavor is mild, mildly bready with a little grass. Not harmful.

One of the worst beers ever. Palest color you can get, total skunk, watery flat texture.

Bottle @ home. Long day of work on a Monday, so I figured I could do some shameless ticking to end the evening. This bad boy comes in a clear bottle (yums!) Clear, piss yellow appearance with a fairly small white head. Smells like shit even from several feet away: skunky, pale malty, light toast aroma. Cracker/toast, pale malty, grassy, hay, lime, skunky flavor. Scroll past.

Bottle split with Andrew, streets, and Brendan. Pours a clear piss yellow body. Aroma is utterly disgusting skunk. Mouthfeel is thin not as bad as the aroma though.

Single from a Latin American supermarket that was next to Mekong. Extremely pale gold with hardly any head whatsoever. Aromas of paper, some honey. Corn syrup. Classic developing world pale lager. The taste is really bready. Wonder bread. Sugary taffy. Little else. Light body, active carbonation. Poor.

From a clear 12 oz bottle with a twist off cap. First I thought this was the Turkish mariachi but closer inspection yielded Guatemala. Drank right from the bottle. Smell is not too bad, actually rather mild. Taste does not have lots of personality but it is a pale lager that goes down easy. No real ill effects with this brew. At 4%, it has to act like a gentleman. Does have a hint of lemon in there way back in the background. Finish is somewhat like soda water. Overall, not a bad beer drinkin experience at all for a lager lover. Could easily drink a few of these. Nice session brew.

12oz bottle in a shaker. Pours golden with a thin, white head. Aroma of pale malts and some light hops. Flavor bland, but no bad notes. Average to light texture. Standard pale lager.

12oz bottle 9/8/12 (Binny’s Naperville)-42° in Lager Glass-Pours a clear very light golden with a small white ring for a head. Aroma of corn and sweetness. Taste of the same. This light bodied brew would be good on a hot summer day after mowing the lawm.

beerbill (3618) - Laurel, New York, USA - SEP 15, 2011
12 oz. clear glass bottle. Label reads it is from Cerveceria Centro Americana SA, Guatemala City, Guatemala. Product of Guatemala. Pours a crystal clear very pale straw gold with a thin fizzy white head that evaporates instantly. The aroma is weak malt along with just a hint of lemon. The flavor is again weak malt with lemon and lime. Lightly sweet. Very, very mild bitterness at the finish. Thin, watery body. This is not something I would look to drink on a regular basis, but it is not objectionable either.

A better than average pale lager with a fair amount of sweet malt taste. Guatemala? Are there mariachis in Guatemala?
