an ugly palate, i think it tastes of iron. i think it is ugly that it has artificial colour.
Bottle found in the deep cellars of the Carlsberg breweries. Pours a clear dark brownish colour with a short lasting bubbly head. Sweet caramel and roasty malty aroma, Rather thin mouthfeel. The flavour is sweet with roasty malty, some dark fruits and slight metal. Rest in peace Maribo Bryghus. Papsoe (25063) - Frederiksberg, DENMARK - AUG 10, 2005
(Bottle 33 cl) Clear, dark brown with a rubyred glow and a small, light brown head. Roasted malty, sweetish notes but far from cloying. This is a decent brew even with a small, fine hoppy edge. 250300 Emil (6065) - Copenhagen, DENMARK - JUN 16, 2005
Bottle. Dark red brown colour with a small baige head. Prun raisin butter aroma and a very sweet prun raisin taste. Light body and a sweet finish. ThomasE (5174) - Copenhagen, DENMARK - JUN 14, 2005
Light brown head on a brown body. Malty aroma with some sweet prune hints. Very sweet fruity flavor, again lots of prune and plum. joergen (27970) - Frederiksberg, DENMARK - JUN 12, 2005

Brown. Quickly diminishing head. Metallic and rusty body. Quite bad hvidtøl. Artificial. Ungstrup (37208) - Citizen of the universe, DENMARK - SEP 9, 2004
A red-brown beer with a fine chocolate brown head though collapsing and lazing. The aroma is of straw, licorice, roasted malt, and brown sugar, but a little faint. The flavor is sweet with a little sourness in the background and notes of brown sugar dominating, but also with notes of licorice and hints of wood. The body is a little thin, but no wonder for a low alcohol beer. Quite nice. Jeppe (2631) - Brooklyn, Alabama, USA - APR 16, 2004
Tall foamy tan head on a dark brown body. Extremely sweet malt and brown sugar aroma and flavor. Actually quite nice for a low alcohol beer but very very sweet, almost like sugar water! Christian (13601) - Odense, DENMARK - MAR 29, 2004
Very dark brown with a light brown head. The aroma is a mix of malt a apple juice. It's very sweet with a metallic aftertaste. Hansen (8587) - Assentoft, DENMARK - JUL 27, 2003
To the type of beer, this is ok. But the type is way to sweet. This one is malty and real sweet. Perhaps it has a hint of plastic in the aroma.
