blackbock (135) - Shoalhaven NSW, AUSTRALIA - MAR 15, 2017
(Bottle) Poured a crystal-clear golden yellow. Ample head which remained to a good extent. Aroma of noble hop (Saazer type?) Apparently low bitterness, which wasn’t a problem as there was low malt sweetness. Finish was extremely clean and did not leave lingering bitterness. This is my favourite beer tasted in recent years and I’m glad I tried it while in Sweden.

Great beer aroma
The apperance is fantastic
The taste is as great as a beer could have, cold
It does not have a taste of Apple, tranwreck or something else inapproprate for a great beer
This taste like a beer should! The overall score should be really high! nazzty (1378) - Ödåkra - Helsingborg, SWEDEN - MAY 30, 2012
One of the absolute best tasting pale lager beers. Stronger flavor than other Swedish beers in the same class.
PsychoGunnar (201) - Bergen, NORWAY - OCT 11, 2014
Light amber coloured lager. Rich aroma of caramelized malts and some other elements which are harder to place. The taste contains both pilsner bitterness and deeper malt sweetness, there is a clear alcohol taste as well which never gets too dominating. A fine Lager with a sharp body and balanced aromas. Some grass with a little bit of malt and high drinkability. Wonderful one I still remember.

A golden appearance that poured with a medium head.Quite dry with a reasonable body and a lingering aftertaste.Nothing special but above average for its type. ALLOVATE (3048) - Perth, AUSTRALIA - NOV 15, 2012
Unusually low ratings for a beer I thought was a cut above the usually mundane plethora of export lagers out there. Appearance wise is top marks; a radiant, deep amber body speckled with fine, intermittent bubbles that feed a steady and mounting white crown. Olfactory piercing, spicy, dry and hoppy nose with lengths of rye bread, haystack grain, lemon zest and palest honey. Good toasted malt backbone on the palate. Melanoidins show (?), rich and sweet with just a hint of burnt toast before an all hop tail end. Peppery, spicy and moderately bitter finish has a herbal and grassy length, very clean. More a pilsner than Dortmunder as the label suggested. Refreshing and solid. Not bad at all! (50cL bottle, BB 04/03/13, Cellarbrations Kinross) Wanja (771) - GERMANY - JUN 7, 2013
0.5 l bottle at Orust, Sweden... Nice golden color, short head... Intensive alcohol aromas of citrus, hop and some strange bananas... Intensive Export flavor... Nice ending... Monty84 (18) - Perth, AUSTRALIA - JAN 11, 2007
Tried this one out of the can and also poured into a beer glass. Crystal clear, clean, golden lager. Looks inviting. Nice aroma too. Smells sweet.. I detect mainly honey but also fruit, spices and nutmeg in there somewhere. Goes down smoothly but leaves a slightly bitter aftertaste. That fades quickly however. Overall I enjoyed this one. The 3rd beer from Sweden that I have tried. And the best so far.
