Sample at a tasting at Systembolaget, October 2012.
Dark brown. Slightly roasted with toffee and some weak notes of fruit. Thin and with some notes of metal in a relatively bitter finish. Drinkable but not that exciting.

Very good Christmas beer. In our family it is tradition to serve this beer for Christmas dinner. Strong bread flavor and distinct malt flavor with mild hop bitterness. jolo (1152) - Uppsala, Sweden, SOUTH AFRICA - JAN 16, 2012
Bottle 50cl. A clear red-brown colour with a medium high, good lacing, off-white head. An aroma of roasted malt and caramel. The taste is medium sweet and light bitter. A medium body, oily texture, average carbonation and a medium long duration.

Bottle. Dark brown with a beige head. Malty and fruity aroma. The taste has caramel, some licorice and an acidity, quite sweet with a medium bitterness, a bit metallic. Medium mouthfeel. Not that bad, but nothing special about it.
