Light to medium body with a smooth texture and soft carbonation. Medium sweet raspberry flavor with a medium sweet finish of moderate duration. Soft drinkable fruit beer. Draft at the brewpub, 7/15/14. Pours a clear golden color with a thin creamy white head. Poor head retention. Aroma of tart raspberry and faint wheat. The taste is tart berries, mild wheat. Thin bodied, lingering fruit. Dogbrick (13978) - Columbus, Ohio, USA - OCT 9, 2008
Sample at the brewpub. The beer is a clear orange color with a compact off-white head that diminishes to nothing quickly. Thin top ring of lacing on the glass with spots underneath. Light raspberry aroma with notes of malt. Light body with a raspberry and wheat character and touches of malt underneath. The finish is short and fruity. Overall it is not worth coming back to this beer for any reason. DrSilverworm (9672) - Cincinnati, Ohio, USA - JUN 25, 2013
On tap at during Ohio Brew Week 2013, taster from Courtside Pizza. More hazy, paler white / golden color. Minimal white head. Good ropes of lace. Wow. Really interesting, natural tasting raspberry wheat flavor to it, light breadiness. Light to medium body. Smooth, lighter, kind of crisp carbonation. More dry finish. Light to moderate sweet taste, light tangy tart. Light biscuity pie crust type flavor. I like it. Great razz wheat ale. JaBier (8307) - Capital City, Ohio, USA - OCT 9, 2013
Sample at the brewpub on 9/20/13. Clear yellow in color with a thick white head. Aroma consisting of raspberry jam, pale malt and wheat. Raspberry flavor giving way to creamy wheat before a crisp finish.

On tap at the MBC. At first glance, this beer appears to be some light beer that only an unadventurous redneck would even bother with, but upon further inspection, it is plain that this beer is meant for a person that likes raspberry...a lot. Luckily, I am one of those people. This beer reminds me a great deal of a dry raspberry wine but with notes of wheat beer. All in all, not a beer to drink several of, but definitely one suited for a pint glass or maybe even a snifter. rondphoto (4494) - Lakeside Park, Kentucky, USA - OCT 6, 2012
Clear straw color with no head or lace, very still. Wheat and raspberry in the taste says it all - solid from start to finish with no growth, change, or hop presence. In spite of that, quite drinkable as a summer ade. shigadeyo (3795) - Cincinnati, Ohio, USA - JUL 11, 2009

July 17-19, 2008: Marietta Raspberry Wheat is hazy and has a deep golden color. The aroma has some red raspberry. The flavor is well-balanced between wheat malt and fresh raspberry. It has an average palate, but is pretty good overall.
Draught sample at Skipper’s Bar & Grille in Athens, Ohio during Ohio Brew Week 2008. Rating #5 for this beer.
Gold pour with a light pinkish hue. Aroma is cereal, light juicy fruit gum and raspberry . Flavor follows suite. Decent OhioDad (2492) - Hilliard, Ohio, USA - JUL 23, 2006
On Tap during Ohio Brew Week in Athens at O’Hooley’s - Pours cloudy pinkish golden with not much head at all. Aromas of light raspberry and some yeasty bread. Flavor is a yeasty base that is complimented pretty well with nice fresh raspberry flavor. Palate is light and not much carbonation. Refreshing.
