The aroma had coriander and dark fermented fruit, and caramel. The flavor had the same. The beer poured a reddish brown color w/ no head and lacing. The mouthfeel was medium bodied and creamy.

22 oz. bottle from Mr. Liquor. Poured dark brown with a thin head that still left a nice lacing. Aromas of caramel vanilla. Flavors of caramel with a hoppy finish and an alcohol aftertaste. Very tasty.

Cookie dough, orange candy, caramel. Light tobacco, earth. Amber orange pour, thin white ring around the edges. Fruity flavors, good amounts of orange candy, caramel, little iced tea, nice sweet/dry balance. Drinkability is high for style. Enjoyable.

I loved this barleywine. Itís sweet, but I like a real sweet brew from time to time. Itís a nice dark brown, with a full body and thick mouthfeel. The aroma leaves something to be desired; thatís where the alcohol makes itself known. The first taste Is caramel, fig, toasted nut, and a dull orange flavor (not tangy.) As I progress through the beer, thereís more coffee there. I didnít find the finish very dry at all. Itís a pretty sticky brew the whole way through. Itís highly drinkable/enjoyable, and despite the fairly high ABV, I never felt like I was getting my ass kicked. Fantastic.
