3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Bottle. Pours with a white head over a crystal clear gold to orange body. Your triples should be bottle conditioned. Aroma is quite hoppy for the style with dry pear and apple notes. Taste is dry with corn and light fruit notes followed by a mustiness and bitterness. Lively carbonation and a dry mouthfeel.
Tap at SF Beer Week Opening Gala.
Pours cleae yellow.
Ah, here come the Belgians. A Triple indeed, sweet, but rather unrefined.
Body is medium, also sweet, with a low bitterness and a lively carbonation, but it’s not adding up.
Candy palate, too long for its flavours.
Quite okay. Theydon_Bois (20628) - Hazlemere, the lower Xhitlerns, Buckinghamshire, ENGLAND - MAY 13, 2016
Keg at the brewpub, 29/01/16.
Clear golden with a decent off white head.

Taste comprises Belgian yeast esters, straw, caramel, sweet licks.
Full bodied, fine carbonation, light warming boost in the close.
Ok for style ... The sweetometer doesn’t go to mental ! SHIG (4964) - Wasilla, Alaska, USA - APR 23, 2016

On tap @ brewpub during RateBeer weekend, January 2016. Light, hazy yellow-orange appearance with a nice sized white head. Banana, peppercorn, citrus, spices, clove, pepper. Moderate light body. Moderate high sweetness and moderate bitterness. Decent. phaleslu (10668) - Cincinnati, Ohio, USA - FEB 21, 2016
Draft at the brewpub, served in a flight. Pours a clear gold with a small white head that settles into a ring. Sugary, with pale and sweet malts, hay, banana, wheat, and clove. Light-bodied, with moderate carbonation and a sweet mouthfeel. Overly sweet and one-dimensional. Not bad, but lacks complexity.

[1/29/16] Draught at Marin Brewing in Larkspur. Clear golden. Aroma of fruity esters and light spiciness. Sweetish flavor with malt, fruitiness, and a bit of spiciness. Medium-bodied. JulienHuxley (5950) - Sherbrooke, Quebec, CANADA - JAN 30, 2016
Sample on tap at the brewpub. Clear gold pour with thin white head. Yeasty aroma, belgian tripel, spicy, light booze, grainy, fresh bready notes. Taste is lemony, grainy, nice classic tripel flavor. Palate is med bodied, dry, with good carbonation. Reminds me (slightly) of tripel karmeliet, good stuff. VsXsV (4544) - Stockholm, SWEDEN - JAN 29, 2016
Draught at Marin Brewing Company. Clear light golden liquid with medium white head. Aroma of jenka, lemon peel, white pepper, bubblegum and grain. Taste is light sweet and light bitter with notes of white pepper, jenka and grain. Medium bodied with medium to high carbonation. Decent. Bit sweet. Draft at source. Very perfumey nose almost like a wit. Taste is full of coriander. This is like an imperial wit. Weird. mR_fr0g (13500) - Hertfordshire, ENGLAND - JAN 24, 2016
Draft at the Marin brewing company larkspur. Clear golden yellow coloured pour with a lasting white froth. Aroma is decent clean Belgian yeast, some spicy hop, coriander, orange. Flavour is composed of quite sweet grains, orange and spicy hop, hint of medicinal hop, a bit too sweet. Palate is semi sweet, highish carbonation, semi drying spicy finish. OK triple, but what is the point in a triple.
