OKBeer (1171) - Halifax, Nova Scotia, CANADA - JUN 16, 2003
Dark brown, with a thin, fizzy, diminishing tan head. Very cola like appearance. Faint caramel and alcohol bitter aroma. Mild and mellow but unpleasant tobacco and alcohol flavours. Thin and light bodied.

Really good beer! Who enjoys it should try also "Old English Porter" from BC.

Sweet, molasses aroma, deep amber, small head. Roasted malt and treacle flavour. Good bitterness, very pleasant tongue tingle, good carbonation. Terrific on draught!

Not bad looking but the Price$$$$$$ is way to high

Well balanced, clean finish, great for an afternoon at the BBQ. Also available in 64oz jugs for immediate consumption.

I laugh when I see idiots at the local bars and pubs drink this because they think it’s ’fancy’. It’s actually(for me)the best beer this company makes. Well balanced cream ale with a dark tint to it. Very nice smell too.

Looks are deceiving! In this case they are masking the lack of taste and the sweaty sock smell!

UPDATED: FEB 16, 2007 Not a bad tasting brew. It’s a real pretty looking beer as well. Goes down smooth.

Oakes (17676) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - NOV 28, 2000
UPDATED: SEP 3, 2003 Has that almost smokey dark caramel note. Medium amber colour. Mostly caramel throughout, however. Useless beer.
