3 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
This beer has a smooth enough taste, but it’s a little thin, or basically, has little bite. It also has a somewhat wine sour taste to it. It leaves a distinctive aftertaste that is pleasent, though.
On tap at the brewery. Pours a clear copper with small off white head that lasts. The aroma is rye and caramel. Thin body, licorice, rye, light bitterness, good. bulldogops (2702) - Edmonton, Alberta, CANADA - AUG 27, 2016

Draft pour pint at the Duvall taproom. Copper amber pour with a lot of fizz head and lacing. Rich caramel malt aroma. Flavor is malty, expected average sweetness, and a simple hop addition late. Easy to drink. Tasty alt. kramer (6682) - Sunbury, Pennsylvania, USA - JAN 18, 2016
Tap. Pours a clear reddish amber body with a small thin ring of off-white head. The nose is sweet caramel malt with a bit of huskiness and grainy malt, minimal to no hops. The flavor is very thin and husky with some grainy toasted malt and minimal bitterness on the finish. Mouthfeel is thin and watery in texture with fizzy carbonation. Really short and bland finish. Overall, really boring stuff, even for an Alt, though this doesn’t exhibit the best qualities of the style.

Listed as 5.5% ABV and 30 IBU.
Hazy brown color, off-white head with lacing. Fruity, malty taste. Malty aftertaste. Medium mouthfeel, low bitterness to medium low. Malty, fruity, toasty scent.
Bottle. Pours a cloudy darker reddish amber color with a smallish off-white head on there. Nose has a nice mix of caramel and nuttiness to it, with just a bit of bread coming through. Taste is lightly sweet and a bit doughy, but fairly refreshing and easy to drink. Not a bad brew. beastiefan2k (4007) - HdG (past: NYC, KS, Rain City), Maryland, USA - SEP 27, 2014

Pours a finger of head on a hazy red body.
The aroma is lemon, orange and grain.
The taste has moderate lemon bitterness, earthy fruit and mild honey sweet ending.
The texture is soft with moderate carbonation.
A fine beer, nothing special but tasty with an alt style to it.
