Rating #2029- 2015.09.27 #CraftTakesSeattle Day 4, Beer 131 - Draught at Taproom. Clear golden pour - creamy white head. Aroma of grass, citrus, spice. Really creamy mouthfeel derails the hoppy overtones - a chalky, bitter mess that’s unwelcome at future endeavours. kramer (6905) - Sunbury, Pennsylvania, USA - JAN 18, 2016
Tap. Pours a clear gold body with a small fizzy white head that faded to a thin ring. The nose is bready pale malt, but there’s definitely some oat sweetness under there. A little weird to smell that in a Pale Ale. The flavor is rather bland with light bready malt, some slightly sweet oat character on the finish. Light bodied, a bit of doughy cling on the finish, soft minimal carbonation. Interesting concept, but not sure it delivers overall. I do like the attempt at creating something unique though. mcberko (18956) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - SEP 27, 2015
On tap at Maritime Pacific, pours a clear pale golden yellow with a small white head. Aroma brings out oats, stale bread and maybe a touch of diacetyl. Flavour has lots of the oats, with bready notes and a touch of floral hops. Very dry on the palate, with no residual sweetness. Solid pale.
