Golden in color with a light head. Semi malty with a nice flavor. Buttery, malty and no hops. Crips finish to this beer it was cold and tasty for a hot day. Great lawnmower beer.
On draught. Pours a somewhat hazy pale lemon color with a thin layer of quickly dissipating white fizzy head. Aroma of white bread dough and some fruity pear yeast. Medium bodied, sparkling carbonated mouthfeel. Sweet pear and soft apple flavors with some doughy malt. A minimal hop presence leaves a slightly herbal smack lingering with a grainy, toothy finish. Too sweet and heavy to be refreshing, it lacks that desired crispness. No DMS or other off flavors, but simply too chewy and too much fruity characters to be a good example of the style. Draught at the pub. Pours is clear gold with a creamy white head and lacing. Sweet malt nose. Sweet malt up front with a balanced bitter but crisp and clean finish. Nice beer. linc33 (184) - Albany, New York, USA - JUL 11, 2006
On tap at The Flying Pig, Everett WA. Urine yellow. Crisp beginning but mellows to a buttery malt. Alcoholic bite. Also tasted at the brewery and it was much better here, for whatever reason. KAggie97 (3529) - Ugly, Hot, and Humid Spring, Texas, USA - JUN 14, 2006

Pours gold with nice lacing. Aroma is sweet honey. Flavor is malt and hops, with a hint of sweetness in the finish. Palate is nice. Nice, light, and good for when you have 5 minutes to catch the 7:20 ferry to Bainbridge Island.

Pours a medium yellow with a small head.
Aroma is sweet malt, a hint of grassy Saaz hops, and an ample dose of grain. Taste is relatively strong on the warm malt (i.e., malty sweet) and relatively short on the hops and carrying with it some hints of grain.. The mouthfeel was overcarbonated to the point of being too prickly. Not bad, certainly no seriously foul tastes in there anywhere - but nothing special either and lacking the hop-heavy crispness of my favorite pilseners.
Bottle: Vibrant straw, clear, huge white foamy head, wonderful lacing, little or no carbonation. Aroma of oats, cereal, and very slight waxed cardboard. Sweet malt flavor, no cardboard as suggested by the nose, a bit grainy however, but remains fairly clean. Body and mouthfeel are quite full for the style, smooth and velvety. Slightly grassy finish, remaining fairly sweet. Not too shabby, a bit heavier and sweeter than most. BeerLimey (2154) - California, USA - AUG 14, 2005
Lightly hazed golden hue. Malty, grassy aroma. Mild palate, fairly sweet, grassy, minty, minimal hop bitterness. motelpogo (7704) - Plzen, CZECH REPUBLIC - DEC 26, 2004
on tap at the jolly roger. someone should tell some american brewers that pilsners don’t have to be bland. pretty anonymous malt character, just some cardboard flavour and plain flour. egad JahNoth (1039) - Rochester, New York, USA - DEC 4, 2004
Slight earthy hops in the aroma. Fairly flat pour for a pilsener. Sunshine gold in color. Soft, medium mouthfeel. Very bready flavor, rich in malt with a hoppy kick. Not a bad brew at all. Thanks to Skyhand for the sample.
