Most of the Maritime Brewing company beers tend to be more of a 'unique' experience rather than a beer you would return to and drink on a regular basis. This Pilsner, however, despite it's Budweiser looking clarity, has a very smooth taste, and a wonderful sweet flavor! There is a light hop aroma, offset by strong flavor somewhat like a slighly sweeter, more carbonated, but less hoppy version of their IPA. There is no bitter aftertaste; definately a beer that can be enjoyed multiple times in one sitting.
On tap at Seattle Beer Company on 1st Street downtown Seattle. Pours clear yellow-orange with small white head and lacing. Aroma: cherry, biscuit, honey. Flavor: apricots, honey, biscuit, straw. Mouthfeel: light- to medium-bodied. Too malt-forward for a pilsner. djd07 (15260) - Houston, Texas, USA - NOV 25, 2016

Aroma is strong malty sweetness, caramel, ripe fleshy fruits. Taste is lightly hopped, rather dry but quite impressive. Crisp, refreshing, and smooth tasting. j12601 (12973) - Poughkeepsie, New York, USA - JUN 2, 2016

Tap. Pours a clear pale gold body with a small fizzy white head that faded to a wispy partial covering. The nose is pretty bland, a little bready malt, maybe some corn, and a minimal touch of floral hops. The flavor is a little too sweet with a white grape juice like note that detracts quite a bit. Finishes with a light bitterness, but not enough to cover up the residual sweetness in here. Mouthfeel is light bodied, but sticky with soft fizzy carbonation. A little clingy and doughy on the finish. Pretty bland and boring, not all that different than the Old Seattle Lager.

Golden color with creamy head. The aroma is too simple. The flavor is simple too, but there is some malt flavor and some cereals. Dry.
Cloudy orange. My nose is shot from beer tasting tonight, so no aroma. Sips med to full with banana and spice. This is a pilsner?? Call it what they want, but there sure is a lot of yeast and bread/sweet fruit flavors for a lager. Nice nonetheless. Had at the lost lake cafe and lounge just off pike behind poquitos. Sample at the Tap House Grill in Seattle. The beer pours a clear pale yellow-gold color with a medium fizzy white head that burns away quickly to an outer ring. Spotty lacing. Aroma of grassy hops and malt. Light-bodied with a mildly bitter hops character with some biscuit malt behind it. The finish is lightly bitter with a short hoppy aftertaste. Slightly above average overall.
