COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Rich and roasty toasty, but also mellow at the same time. This beer is a celebration of the seasonality of beer. Somewhere between a Brown Ale and a Stout, this Porter will provide warmth to counter the growing nip in the air.

Draft at brewery. The pour is dark. The aroma is malt and some roast. The taste is full bodied. A really good porter. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

A nice fall porter offers a polished experience that blends the expertise of Market Garden’s skills with the feel of late autumn. Living up to its name, the result should be sampled even if you only have time for a single visit while down in Ohio City.

Aroma / Appearance - A fluid black base supports a pillar of creamy icy head. Smoky ash wafts into the air with a cool texture similar to a winter bonfire. Roasted malts weave their way into the gaps.

Flavor / Palate - Smoke and ash refresh the palate. An easy drinking porter does not feel like 7% ABV at all. The finish builds over the course of each sip. Without becoming harsh it leaves a long lasting but mild taste in the throat. Of the four beers in the evening’s flight this one most deserved a full pour.

Dark brown color with small lt brown head. This had very smooth roasted chocolate and coffee notes. Nice sweet maltiness with little bitterness. Pretty good overall.

Sample at Market Garden on 9/11/12. Clear dark brown pour with a thick tan head. Aroma of some roast and chocolate, but light, like a dry stout. Malty flavor with caramel and chocolate before a roasty finish.
