COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
If you have ever spent time in a German beer garden, you know how much they love their wheat beer. Our Bavarian-style Hefeweizen is a satisfying blend of sweet wheat and pale malts, clove and banana aromatics, and the zesty tang of wheat yeast.

12 ounce bottle into weizen glass, best before 7/31/2017. Pours hazy pale golden/yellow color with a 2 finger fairly dense and fluffy white head with great retention, that reduces to a nice cap that lingers. Nice dense foamy lacing clings on the glass, with a good amount of streaming carbonation retaining the cap. Aromas of big lemon, orange, banana, bubblegum, clove, white pepper, wheat, cracker, white bread dough, herbal, grass, and yeast earthiness. Damn nice aromas with great balance and complexity of fruity/spicy yeast, pale malt, and light earthy hop notes; with great strength. Taste of big lemon, orange, banana, bubblegum, clove, pepper, wheat, cracker, white bread, herbal, grass, and yeast earthiness. Light herbal bitterness, yeast spiciness, and wheat tang on the finish. Lingering notes of lemon, orange, banana, bubblegum, clove, white pepper, wheat, cracker, white bread dough, herbal, grass, and yeast earthiness on the finish for a good bit. Incredible complexity, robustness, and balance of fruity/spicy yeast, pale malt, and light earthy hop flavors; with a nice malt/spiciness balance, and zero cloying flavors after the finish. Minimal dryness from bitter/spiciness as well. High carbonation and medium body; with a very smooth, creamy/bready/grainy, and slightly sticky mouthfeel that is awesome. Zero warming alcohol as expected of 6%. Overall this is an amazing hefeweizen! All around incredible complexity, robustness, and balance of fruity/spicy yeast, pale malt, and light earthy hop flavors; very smooth and refreshing to drink. Very flavorful for the ABV, and a flawless style example. Perfectly balanced yeast/malt flavors. A highly enjoyable offering, and the best American made style example I have had.

Panzuriel (2333) - Westerville, Ohio, USA - MAY 8, 2017
Appearance: Bright orangey gold. Hazy. Finger of white foam. Nose: Bright, citrusy with herbal hay notes. Touches of floral hops. Taste: Light citrus, floral and herbal hops over the wheaty malty grainy trademark wheat beer flavor profile Body: Medium to lighter, grainy. Active carbonation Parting thoughts: Wheat beers are typically not my style. The grainy hay thing just doesn’t work for me. This beer, was nice. the hop flavors did a good job of blending with the traditional wheat beer elements and masking some of the elements I typically enjoy less.

Not impressed. Color was nice cloudy dark yellow and hint of orange. Aroma was a decent yeasty Belgium style. Taste, that’s where it goes all wrong. It’s an odd sweet, fruit, and dull yeast. Tap

12 ounce bottle poured into a tulip glass. The beer is a hazy yellow with a white head of foam. The aroma has sweet citrus, orange zest, and bread. Big crusty bread character. I get a nice orange juice character in the finish. Nicely sweet. Medium body and medium carbonation. Really, a very good Hefeweizen.

On draft at the Westin hotel in Cleveland, Ohio. Hazy yellow body with a small white collar. Banana, clove aroma. A hefe in the German style. Sweet, but not overly so. Solid.

Boardman, Oh - on tap at Magic Tree Pub and Eatery, Hazy, medium golden pour, Soft, snow white head. Cloves and banana flavoring in the aroma. Nice esters in the flavor, some bubble gum accents, a touch of clove. Mouthfeel has a creamy presence to it. Very solid hefe.

On tap. Hazy straw color with almost no head. Wheat and clove aroma. More clovey and spice taste. Pretty good American version.

Bottle. Nose is great and authentic, wheat slime under bright citrus and banana, lighter on the clove but picking up that special cracker note. Pour yellow-golden with a large and rocky, bright white head. Taste semi-dry but picking up light sweet notes of lemon zest and sweet orange peel; soft wheat and a little less slime in the dense but ultimately only medium body. Low and slightly murky bitterness. I pick up the gooey clove with time. It’s crisp and refreshing but probably could use a bit more carbonation. But really no complaints here, this one really takes me back. [2016.08.08: 3.7]
