Bottle, 500ml. A cloudy golden colour with a medium white head. Aroma of orange zest and coriander. Thin and watery, there’s some wheat, a little orange and a faint hint of coriander. High carbonation. Metallic finish with a little herbal funk. Overall pretty bland and overly sweet.

330ml bottle bought at M&S in Langham Place, Mong Kok.

Cloudy, hazy light straw golden colour with misty yeast particles; One and a quarter finger head with white foam which lasts for 2 minutes; Excellent sticky lacing with active small carbonation; Fragrant aroma of light malt, with strong wheat, tartness, banana, strong coriander, orange peels, light floral, light sugar, spices, yeast, light lemon and thin grass; Close to light sweet and strong tart taste of light malt, with strong wheat, light banana, fair orange peels, coriander, molasses notes, strong spices, earth, strong yeast, moderate lemon, very light bitter hops and thin grass; Mid to light body. Dry, crisp and slick palate. Mouth Feel is fair light malty base with strong wheatyness and tartness which balanced the sweetness well. Very slick. Good spice, coriander and light orange peels abound. Yeasty , earthy but not so estery. Light lemon to round. Good!... Hoppiness is light floral, spices, light lemon and thin grass in nose, and stronger with earth in taste; Bitterness is low for an abrupt, very low astringent wheaty spicy finish; Quite dry after taste. Spicy and low bitter to mouth.

Comments: This is an on-standard Belgian White with strong wheaty tartness, good banana aroma, a big dose of coriander and spice to taste. Very solid and almost outstanding, a very easy and enjoyable Wit indeed. Recommended!
