Bottle (from Mark & Spencer Kristiine). Pours golden. Aroma is sweet, apples, some sourness. Flavor is very sweet, apples, some sourness, sugar. Finish is sugary. Doesn’t feel watery despite low ABV. Overall: decent sweet apple juice.

GoufCustom (2178) - HONG KONG - JAN 17, 2017

750 ml corked bottle opened with loud ‘pop’ bought at M&S in iSquare, Tsim Sha Tsui.

Clear light golden colour; One-quarter finger head and residual soapy white foam which fades in 20 seconds; Poor sticky lacing with fizzy slight carbonation; Fragrant aroma of apple juice, with strong yoghurt tartness, strong wood barrel, apple flesh, pears and sugar; Medium sweet taste of apple juice, with apple flesh, wood barrel, strong carbo, fair yoghurt, sugar and faint wine wine; Light body. Watery palate; Mouth feel is rich apple juice in a thin carbo-ish background. More like a Doux with fairly strong but tasty fruity sweetness. Good apple flesh and notable wood barrel with some winey undertone. Easy and nice!... Slightly dry after taste. Sweet fruity and very easy to mouth.

Comments: As a light boozed sweet cider, this is pretty solid with attractive, strong apple and pear fruity aroma, tasty juicy body with lingering wood barrels. Simple-minded delivery with labor of love. An excellent thirst quencher and I like it!

Bottle @cgarvieuk. April Not So Fools Tasting 2014 [Rating Backlog April 2014] Pours golden thin soon disappearing white head. Nose is sweet apple, very artificial. Taste at first is overly sweet but it calms down and becomes quite a palate cleaner. Still not great.

minutemat (6063) - Shropshire, ENGLAND - OCT 10, 2016
75cl bottle from M&S. Pours clear gold with a thin white head. Aroma presents lightly fresh apple juice, some vanilla. Taste is markedly sweet, a touch syrupy, but typically light doux territory. Good sunny afternoon refresher.

Almost a soft drink. Appletiser(r) made from apples and with a finer carbonation. Surprisingly pleasant tasting for a 2% ABV labelled ’sweet’. Shared single 750ml bottle between 3 with roast pork dinner, nicely palate cleaning though couldn’t, and wouldn’t want to, drink it by the pint. It would probably go well with a crumble or similar dessert.

allmyvinyl (11026) - Edinburgh, SCOTLAND - MAR 18, 2016
750ml bottle from M&S, the gyle, Edinburgh. Pours clear golden orange with a thin, short-lived white head. Sweet apple juice aromas. Light chalky bitter flavour. Good body for the strength.

Super sweet apple juice aroma, fresh, and some nice skins. Taste similar. Super refreshing palate. Quaffable in the extreme. Lovely apple juice.

Bottle shared at the ’Beers of London’ Tasting MkII, Bespin Cloud City - Hyde Park zone, thanks to the real Fergus 11/02/15. Clear pale golden blonde with moderate off white spotting. Nose is rich apple, apple pie, straw, vanilla. Taste comprises apple pie, straw, custard, apple skin, light sugar dust. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, light wood in a crisp close. Ok easy drinking sweet cider, good flavour for the ABV.

Bottle share, thanks to Fergus. Yellow, clear, slightly sparkling, small ring of white head. Aroma is very sweet, appley. Apple juice all over. Body is medium, quite foamy, light carbonation. Taste is sweet apple juice again. Really nothing else to write about. Is this apple juice?
