Bottled, Regular;
The Cambridgeshire Golden Ale is brewed with a blend of English Challenger and American Mount Hood hops, balanced by East Anglian Maris Otter malt. Dry hopping before bottling gives a burst of flavour on the palate and a subtle bitterness that lingers beautifully.
Ingredients: water, barley malt (Maris Otter), wheat malt, hops (Challenger, Mount Hood), yeast, carbon dioxide.

Bottle at home in London - picked up at the M&S on Oxford St. Pours crystal clear yellow-gold, lightly effervescent, with a frothy white head. Bready, crackery malts in the nose, some lemon rind, dough, hay. Light-medium sweet flavor with dry and crispy crackers, more bitter hay, slight grass. Light bodied with average carbonation. Finishes with lightly sugary biscuits, moderate bitterness hay and grass, sun-kissed cereal, lemon rind. Interesting stuff. Pretty drinkable overall.

Bottle from Marks & Spencer St Pancras. Clear pale gold lasting white head. Some yeast on the aroma. Some ok citrus flavour in the mouth. A well balanced and good drinking golden ale with enough biting hop on the finish to make it interesting. It’s fine and slightly better than average.

Bottle at Marks&Spencer in Prague. Golden beer with a small offwhite head. Citrus aroma, grassy, bready, bisbuits, caramel, some lemongrass. Hoppy floral flavor, grassy, hay, citrus, bready notes. Decent but not more.

500ml bottle (M&S, Tallinn) - thanks Marduk!
Amazingly marmaladey aroma, grapefruit and other citrus zest. Touch malty too, but it’s a bit thin. Flattish palate, gently sweet. Simple but tasty pale bitter. A bit papery. Drying finish, long and dusty, a bit earthy chalky, but still a bit sweet too. Adequate for the strength, but a bit thin.

Bottled, 500ml from Marks & Spencers in Banbury, Oxon. Gold with white head. There is a soft carbonation to this but not intrusive to the flavour. There is a light citrus character to this, quite crisp, fruity, refreshing with a zesty edge. Pretty decent.

Bottle sample at my 5555th rating tasting at Sar HaMashkaot Ramat Gan. Thanks zvikar. Clear golden. Aroma of bready malt, a bit of fruitiness and floral notes. Flavor has a bit of graininess, stale malt and a bitter finish, kinda husky. Light to medium-bodied.

mR_fr0g (13158) - Hertfordshire, ENGLAND - DEC 23, 2013
Bottle at home from Euston M&S. Aroma is crisp lemon zest, toasty, mineral. Golden straw clear pour with a thin scummy head. Flavour is clean biscuity malt, lemon zest, slight grassy hop. Some floral ester characters in there as well. Palate is crisp and light with medium carbonation. Tasty.
