Bottle as my B’day present from my friends :) Medium dark head, very dark brown colour. Aroma: coffee, dark chocolate. Lightly dry/sour, medium body, soft carbonation. Alright-ish.

500 ml bottle bought at M&S in Langham Place, Mong Kok.

Opaque blackish brown colour; Three finger head with crumpety beige foam which lasted for 3 minutes; Very good sticky lacing with near zero carbonation; Fragrant aroma of dark malt, with caramel, sticky toffee, strong chocolate, coffee, red fruits, floral, icing sugar, bread, light lemon and strawy grass; Close to light sweet taste of dark malt, with metallic, black coffee, tartness, light caramel, floral, very light molasses, herbs, biscuits, lemon, medium bitter hops and grass; Mid to light body. Slick palate; Mouth feel is very good dark maltyness in a slightly wheat-thinned but solid, chewy background. Mainly tartness with dark malt bitterness, plus quite notable black coffee with a touch of caramel. Flowery with low sweetness. Herbal with lemon to round. Effective!... Hoppiness is floral, light lemon and strawy grass in nose. Herbs, floral, lemon and grass in taste; Bitterness - malts and hops - is fairly strong for a lasting, mid to fair astringent bitter dark malty finish; Dry after taste. Coffee herbal and bitter to mouth.

Comments: This one has good looks, decent toffee malty aroma, and a flat dark malt bitterness with a chewy feel. Only one small step away from being outstanding. Drinkable of course.

Rich nutty taste with a bit of hop sharpness. Dry finish. Pretty decent easy going stuff.

UPDATED: NOV 7, 2017 Quite nice, real Irish stout. A bit watery body, but is in style limits overall. A bit surprised.

A dark beer. Very good taste. Ideal to have with chocolate or other sweeties. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Smell- coffee, chocolate, Smokey (a bit of charcoal), a little bit of dark fruits in there. Taste is very smokey, may be a little bit of dark fruits in there but the smoke is quite over powering. I don’t really rate it, the smell is nice but the flavour is pretty poor, in my opinion.

Bought as a fathers day present from my daughter. Pours with a nice head that quickly disappears. Not an unpleasant stout. Just not one of the best. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Deep dark brown pour with a nice dark tan creamy head. Nice dark chocolate on the nose, some dark sugars, some faint licorice, dried tobacco, smokey roast. Taste has deeply roasted grain, bit smokey, ashy, with some hints of strong dark cocoa powder and some sharp, grassy-minty notes. It gets some coffee dregs in the finish, some earthiness too, with a dry bitterness. Hints of cola. Aftertaste has some lingering British hop and burnt grain. Medium body, quite fizzy. Not bad, but a pretty pedestrian dry stout. Goes down easy.

Bottle. Pours black with a nice tan/ruby foam that resides in consistent small bubbles. Scent is medium notes of caramel. Taste is lovely porter with notes of nicotine and wood resin. Light caramel. Finish is raspy. Very good.

Thnx to Laana. Pours very dark brown to black. OK white head. Smell is sweet, roasty, bit coffee. Mostly sweet though. Taste is rather bitter, burnt malts. Very mild coffee. No sweetness here. Taste and mouthgfeel are both very thin. OK carbo. even for the ABV, this is to wattery.
