Bottle. Malty and zesty citrus-hoppy ale. Refreshing, well balanced. Low hoppiness for an IPA. Not too bitter. OK. (2008)

Gelungenes Stout! 10/11/11/11/9/11

0.5 l bottle at Petalax Beer Festival 2010. Golden to copper color. Flowery, fruity and resiny hop aroma. Bitter and biscuity flavor with flowery and resiny hops. Minerals in the finish. OK English IPA, could drink more of this.

Almost clear orange color, small white head. Aroma of orange peels, hops, marmalade. Flavor is orange jam, hops and some oranges. Fizzy carbonation. Quite ordinary English IPA.
Bottle. Sweet with a clear appearance.Although labelled as an IPA
it clearly is a pleasant bitter. The lack of true hoppiness is a giveaway. Nevertheless its an pleasant bitter. Gary (1999) - London, Greater London, ENGLAND - OCT 1, 2009
The use of IPA on UK beers that are just bitters/ESB’S is redundant, but it adds street creed and markting points so it aint goin’ away . Actually pretty nice "Bitter". Fruity ,juicy hop tangs on my first sip. Earthy apple ester ...Toasty toffee/malt..Some tree bark and pencil shavings ,some low dryness. Pretty good!. imdownthepub (14557) - Banbury, Oxfordshire, ENGLAND - SEP 20, 2009
Bottled, 500ml, pasteurised from M&S Banbury. Gold with white head, carbonated. Can’t imagine what M&S are playing at with this, dead lifeless beer, maybe with a hint of hop and a fairly sweet malt, but otherwise definitely very dull.
