500ml bottle at home, from Marks & Spencer, High Street, Ayr, corn, grain aroma, clear straw coloured, sweet honey and corn, high carbonation, easy to drink

500 ml bottle. (Marks & Spencer) London, England.
Clear golden colour with a small white head. Sweetness, malt and hay in the aroma. The flavour is as boring... with some sweetness, bready malt, mild metal notes and hay dryness.

dxbrad (57) - West Yorkshire, ENGLAND - OCT 26, 2014
Light hoppy but not overly fizzy, a little cloying on the palate...not a thirst quencher by any means

tinylightsrecs (437) - - SEP 27, 2014
Bottle from Marks and Spencer Team Valley. Bready, sweet. A bit bland but reasonably refreshing

allmyvinyl (11029) - Edinburgh, SCOTLAND - JUN 7, 2014
500ml bottle at home. Pours clear golden yellow, thick white head, long-lasting. Aromas of light malt, light metallic notes, straw. Taste is mostly sweet, slight astringent bitterness. Light body and a bit thin. OK.

Christos (5889) - Arnhem, NETHERLANDS - MAY 6, 2014
Bottle 500 ml at home, into a big tulip, ABV 5% Deep golden yellow colour on the body, with little activity in it, and a thick white head sitting on top, two fingers tall and with very good retention. Light lacing on the glass. Aroma of an average lager, with malts and some straw, I am getting some salt (?) too. Taste is very sweet, very malty with light metallic notes. Not much more in this one, the malts are dominating. Being used to the greek sweet lagers this doesn’t annoy me that much, at least at first. Thin body, average carbonation. Actually I don’t find it bad at all, it may even had scored higher on a warmer and sunnier day.

Typical Italian Menabrea maltiness. Not pleasant. This really is not a good lager.

dynamiteninja (1890) - Norfolk, ENGLAND - MAR 28, 2014
Bottle. Clear light gold body. Dense creamy white head. Nose is sulphur, corn, red fruit, light hops, iron, green apple, rich tea biscuit, wheat, light citrus, pale malt. Light bitterness. Dry finish.

Good bottled lager. Nice fresh taste. For the style this is better than many.
