Bottle on the train home, from the bigger M&S at Waterloo, 30/12/13. Clear pale golden with a moderate white head (bottle rate). Nose is pale malts, cereals, hay, cornbread. Taste comprises pale malt, straw, light caramel, sugar cane. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, crisp closure with sweet tones. So so affair, Ok for style I guess!

Gethinbeer (2452) - Nova Scotia, CANADA - AUG 1, 2013
Clear golden pour with a frothy white and quickly disappating lace. Malt, citrus aroma. Refreshing malt flavour. Hints of honey in the texture. Little dull.

sic1314 (4775) - Leiden, NETHERLANDS - JUL 22, 2013
Poured a clear straw with a frothy head. Aroma of sweet gran and some pine. Medium, smooth body, flavour is bitter floral hops, quite a pleasant surprise this one.

mR_fr0g (12567) - Hertfordshire, ENGLAND - JUN 9, 2013
Bottle at home from Marks and Spencer Euston. Clear pale yello straw colour with a fleeting thin white head. Aroma is grainy corn, and slight acidic apple edge. Flavour is watery carbonic acid bite. Slight metal. The palate is watery gassy and really thin. A very disappointing beer. Could not finish.

SudsMcDuff (8438) - .....Manchester United.........., Texas, USA - JUN 4, 2013
bought at the M&S in Celbridge, opened at the Dowlings house on Xmas eve, what an awesome night!! .. . grain and hay .. medium gold .. good effervescent feel .. . mild crispiness .. . very clean .. . great foam head .. lacing is great .. . went well with christmas dinner, a nice example of the style .. . . Kim sits peacefully in her seat on the bus. A black guy happens to stand near her. She quickly clutches her bag. that’s racist Kim, you squinty eyed fuck!

ManVsBeer (10654) - Hebden Bridge, West Yorkshire, ENGLAND - DEC 12, 2012
Clear golden lager that looks the part but with no head. Has a sweet aroma like most other beers but little flavour to it, although the dominant feature is its great texture, the pure spring water gives it an exceptionally smooth feel in the palate.

imdownthepub (14749) - Banbury, Oxfordshire, ENGLAND - DEC 4, 2012
Bottled, 500ml from M&S Banbury. Gold with fizzed head. Light, slightly flowery, fruity lager, a touch flabby rather than crisp I would say, but reasonable enough. Some lemon though. It’s ok.

tommann (3801) - Dudley, West Midlands, ENGLAND - MAY 13, 2012
500ml bottle. Pours bright gold with a medium head. Aroma is grassy hops with a little lemon. Taste is grassy to start. Some minerals. Medium bitter finish.
