jasonbenali (243) - Kent, ENGLAND - OCT 3, 2017
Pours a slightly cloudy orange to brown with minimal head and thick lacing.

Aroma is apricot, caramel, lemon and grapefruit. Taste has a little sweetness and then is very bitter and soapy and not all that pleasant with a watery medium bitter grapefruit finish.

Has flavour, just not that pleasant to drink.

GoufCustom (2203) - HONG KONG - SEP 19, 2017

330 ml bottle bought at M&S in SoHo, Central.

Clear amber colour; One quarter finger head with residual soapy white foam which fades in 20 seconds; Very good sticky lacing with near zero carbonation; Fairly pungent aroma of Ale malt, with apricots, strong yellow fruits, citrus peels, floral, sugar, spices, bread, lemon and smelly grass; Mid to light sweet taste of Ale malt, with grapefruits, strong citrus peels, light caramel, floral, light molasses, wood, herbs, light biscuits, strong lemon, strong bitter hops and grass; Close to light body. Watery palate; Mouth Feel is Ale maltyness in a thin background, with gluten-free factor leaves it with an empty, airy, non-fulfilling malt taste. Very citrusy hops takes over, with lots of bitter grapefruits, lemon peels and woody spices throughout. Flowery with fair sweetness. Very herbal with strong lemon to round. Pretty nice!... Hoppiness is apricots, strong yellow fruits, citrus peels, floral, spices, lemon and smelly grass in nose. Grapefruits, strong citrus peels, floral, wood, herbs, strong lemon and grass in taste; Bitterness is strong for a lasting, very high astringent bitter-sweet herbal finish; Dry after taste. Citrus peely and strong bitter to mouth.

Comments: This one's has quite a good hoppy aroma and mean bitterness, but the gluten-free/castrated malt feels like it has its soul (fullness) ripped out and not complete. It's decent already, but with the gluten, it will be better!

imdownthepub (15380) - Banbury, Oxfordshire, ENGLAND - FEB 10, 2017
Bottled, 330ml from Marks & Spencer’s in Banbury, Oxon. Darkish gold with white head. This proved to be a dryish, pretty regular bitter, leafy, earthy hops with a hint of fruitiness, slightly lighter roasted malt. It’s okay.
