Bottle at home. Clear golden in colour. Mild and slightly bitter. Some smooth honey sweetness at the end.

mr_h (6122) - Ayr, SCOTLAND - JAN 21, 2018
330ml bottle (5%) at home on 21 Jan 2018, from M & S Food Hall, Heathfield, Ayr (bb 31 Oct 2018): malted barley aroma, pale amber brown, foamy cream head, cereal, toffee, a bit metallic, dry finish.

DruncanVeasey (8607) - Nr NUNEATON, Warwickshire, ENGLAND - JAN 15, 2018
October 2016. Clear brown beer with a short-lived off white head. Initial dung heap aroma mellowing into dank woods and privet. Biscuit and caramel-driven flavour with saline and muscovado suggestions. Bitter nutty finish with hazelnut and soapy streaks of hop. Not unpleasant just ludicrously removed from what constitutes an IPA by any definition.

Theydon_Bois (21905) - Hazlemere, the lower Xhitlerns, Buckinghamshire, ENGLAND - DEC 8, 2017
Bottle at home, 08/12/17. Clear golden copper with a decent off white head. Nose is biscuit, honey, airy malts, straw, grains, soft bread. Taste comprises light caramel, toasted grains, cheesecake base, honey, orange peel. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close with light floral bitterness. Ok for style.

jasonbenali (258) - Kent, ENGLAND - OCT 3, 2017
Pours a slightly cloudy orange to brown with minimal head and thick lacing. Aroma is apricot, caramel, lemon and grapefruit. Taste has a little sweetness and then is very bitter and soapy and not all that pleasant with a watery medium bitter grapefruit finish. Has flavour, just not that pleasant to drink.

GoufCustom (2313) - HONG KONG - SEP 19, 2017

330 ml bottle bought at M&S in SoHo, Central.

Clear amber colour; One quarter finger head with residual soapy white foam which fades in 20 seconds; Very good sticky lacing with near zero carbonation; Fairly pungent aroma of Ale malt, with apricots, strong yellow fruits, citrus peels, floral, sugar, spices, bread, lemon and smelly grass; Mid to light sweet taste of Ale malt, with grapefruits, strong citrus peels, light caramel, floral, light molasses, wood, herbs, light biscuits, strong lemon, strong bitter hops and grass; Close to light body. Watery palate; Mouth Feel is Ale maltyness in a thin background, with gluten-free factor leaves it with an empty, airy, non-fulfilling malt taste. Very citrusy hops takes over, with lots of bitter grapefruits, lemon peels and woody spices throughout. Flowery with fair sweetness. Very herbal with strong lemon to round. Pretty nice!... Hoppiness is apricots, strong yellow fruits, citrus peels, floral, spices, lemon and smelly grass in nose. Grapefruits, strong citrus peels, floral, wood, herbs, strong lemon and grass in taste; Bitterness is strong for a lasting, very high astringent bitter-sweet herbal finish; Dry after taste. Citrus peely and strong bitter to mouth.

Comments: This one's has quite a good hoppy aroma and mean bitterness, but the gluten-free/castrated malt feels like it has its soul (fullness) ripped out and not complete. It's decent already, but with the gluten, it will be better!

leaparsons (10919) - Wigston, Leicestershire, ENGLAND - JUN 11, 2017
Bottle, Marks and Spencer, Leicester. Hazy golden with a white bubbly head. Cereal malts with lemon. Some apricot. Light grassiness. Honeyed sweetness. Usual GF soapiness. Prickly. Dry finish. Not bad for a gluten free.

Cokemonkey11 (1150) - - APR 17, 2017
Bottle. Pours pale golden with no head and lightly opaque. Scent is nearly scentless and a bit floral. Taste is quite neutral hopped pale ale. Slightly oily finish as expected. Great gf ale.

ManVsBeer (11500) - Hebden Bridge, West Yorkshire, ENGLAND - MAR 8, 2017

kermis (15188) - The Hague / Amsterdam / Zaandam, NETHERLANDS - FEB 24, 2017
