3.1
jamiemac87 (120) - Durham, ENGLAND - MAY 27, 2017
Pours golden with a good white head. Citrus and some metallic tones in the nose, although not offensive. Citrus and malt with a little pine. Finishes with limited bitterness. Not bad.

Fullpintofbeer (361) - Bristol, Somerset, ENGLAND - APR 21, 2017
Bottle from M&S. Small, white head, yellow/golden colour, clear. Aroma of citrus, lemon, grass. Bitter taste, light body, long finish, average carbonation. Quite a nice aroma, but flat bitter taste.

3.4
Cokemonkey11 (833) - - APR 4, 2017
Bottle. Pours pale golden mature IPA with a thin white foam residing thinly. Scent is light IPA and notes of lovely oak cask. Honey, citrus, about 50 IBU of mostly early hops, possibly brown sugar. Finish is smooth. Very good IPA.

Davros IX (329) - Hertford, Hertfordshire, ENGLAND - MAR 30, 2017
The flavour of the hops was very harsh and almost mouth puckering! To me there was no smoothness and I have to say that the mouthfeel was verging on the unpleasant. Maybe this was due to how it was drunk - out a bottle on a train leaving Paddington - but this is not one to repeat.

Great example of single hop and why it is often best to mix varieties. Bottle sharzee from RD. An IPA needs a bit more bitterness to dry the mouth. The citra kis very lemony and a bit too clean on its own. It needs a bit of grapefruit marmalade to round it out. Not a bad beer and good to identify the hop character,

AshtonMcCobb (6497) - Edinburgh, SCOTLAND - OCT 20, 2016
Bottle from M and S. Appearance - golden amber with a decent head. Nose - grapefruit and fresh sweat. Plant stalks. Taste - lemon and green stalks again. Palate - light to medium bodied with a creamy texture and a long dry finish. Overall - somewhere between an APA and a golden ale.

undercurrent25 (2130) - Barnton, Cheshire, ENGLAND - SEP 2, 2016
Part of the two dine for £10 offer. Pours a pale colour, taste is hoppy and citrusy. Good

3.2
Ktwse (4783) - London, Greater London, ENGLAND - AUG 21, 2016
Pours clear golden with a finger of white head. Aroma of light fruit, citrus, pine, mild malt. Taste is mild sweet with a light bitter finish. Light and smooth body with soft carbonation.

My Bottom Line:
This elegant New World-style Pale Ale outlines generous citrus fruit and pineapple before easing into a refined grassy and herbal finish.

Further Personal Perceptions:
-A sheet of foam covers the sparkling golden clarity.
-Bitterness is present, but remains subtle enough. This one’s mostly about aroma and flavour.
-The soft effervescence and relative dryness make for great drinkability.
-Malts offer sturdy haystacks for the hops to bounce on.
-Simple but refined and extremely satisfying; normality or Oakham?

Bottle.

500ml bottle at home, from Marks & Spencer Simply Food, Central Station, Glasgow (bb 31 Mar 2017), malty, citrus hop aroma, straw with a lively thin white head, grapefruit, biscuit, harsh hoppiness, quite gassy, bitter hoppy finish.
