Best of the M&S smash so far. English pale ale with deep mandarin hop flavour. The malt allowed the hop to shine through nicely. bierkoning (13892) - La Tropica/Doarp, NETHERLANDS - SEP 14, 2017
Bottle. Pale amber color. Floral aroma and flavor with ripe tropical fruit. Soft notes of sea salt and cellar. Chloride. Biscuity malt. Dry finish. Decent. jamiet (46) - - SEP 2, 2017
Lekkere ipa, wat frisser dan andere ipa's maar wel met de kenmerkende smaak. Aanrader!

500ml bottle from M&S, Watford. Fairly pleasant, but more of a bitter than an IPA. Caramel and biscuit are more dominant than any hop flavour.

500ml bottle from Marks & Spencer (£2.50):rauchbier (3956) - Isle Of Beer, Lincolnshire, ENGLAND - APR 28, 2017
This one turned out to be a fairly standard English style beer that is apparently a taste that I’m no longer a fan of if this one is anything to go by sadly. The beer opened with some earthy bitter flavours that were a little one-dimensional but the sweetness around the middle was a nice touch & a step in the right direction, sadly it wasn’t maintained & there wasn’t much towards the end of the beer to really keep me interested; definitely not a beer that I’ll pick up again.
Bottle, from Marks & Spencer. Gold, fluffy and sustained white head and gentle condition. Low malt and a faintly perfumed and peppery hop note in the nose. Low earthy hops with a hint of lavender and some fruity malt, muted but pleasant tropical fruit in the mouth with some gently spicy hop notes. Slight fruitiness and a hint of hop bitterness in the finish. BlackHaddock (8073) - Shropshire, ENGLAND - MAR 17, 2017
500ml bottle: BBD Aug 2017. Poured into a UK pint sleeve at home on 17th Mar 2017 during a ’random tasting session’ with myself. Large off-white, creamy looking head on a clean and clear light amber body. One of the best ’single hop’ beers I have had, and I have disliked quite a few. The malt content compliments the hop variety very well and although fairly powerful, allows the Jester variant to show off it’s profile. Another good beer from Adnams/Marks & Sparks. thmsboyd (223) - Ayr, SCOTLAND - JAN 2, 2017
500mL bottle BBE: Feb ’17. Well-chilled. Spiegelau IPA glass. Pours a marmalade copper body with high haze and limited, patchy off-white head. Medium intensity nose exhibiting sweet toffee malts lifted by pink grapefruit, lychee and vaniila pods. Well-balanced between bitter and sweet - neither really going beyond light or light-medium. Full-bodied and creamy, with low carbonation and a gently bitter (yet slightly insipid) finish. Another very good hop profile from Adnams, via M&S. joe19612 (3156) - Camberley, Surrey, ENGLAND - DEC 4, 2016
Pours a mid brown colour with a thin white head, aroma is light and hoppy with hints of biscuit, the taste is medium bitterness with a dry bitter finish.
