UPDATED: JUL 1, 2012 Sampled on draft at the brewpub this beer poured a reddish-caramel color with a medium sized foamy off white head that left some lacing. The aroma was sweet caramel and faint fruit. The flavor was tart and somewhat bitter caramel, fruity hops and crystal malt. The finish was medium length and bitter with faint caramel and a touch of pepper lingering. Medium body. Ok. sonnycheeba (6342) - Federal Hill, Baltimore, Maryland, USA - FEB 2, 2012

Tap. Pours clear amber with a medium, fizzy off-white head, short retention with light lacing. Aroma is light caramel and cookie malt, fruity esters and light earthy hops. Flavor is malt dominant with medium hops and bitterness, fruity esters and a dry finish. Medium body, warmth and carbonation. kramer (6905) - Sunbury, Pennsylvania, USA - FEB 24, 2011
On tap. Pours a slightly hazy reddish amber body with a minimal fizzy off-white head. The nose is pretty nice, some light fruity notes over a toasty and slightly husky graininess. A light touch of hops. The flavor is a touch sweet for my tastes, grainy and toasty with a light bitterness on the finish. Body is on the lighter side with a little clinginess on the finish and soft fizzy carbonation. Pretty decent for the style, though I wish it were a bit drier.
