Draft at brewpub. Pours brown with a thin head. Doesn’t leave any lacing. Has very prominent peanut notes on the nose which my anticipation of the beer. Beautiful roasted peanuts on the tongue but there’s a body to the beer as well which completes the illusion. Finishes clean. Best beer I’ve had from these guys. j12601 (12000) - Poughkeepsie, New York, USA - AUG 20, 2013
Sampled this at Campground Brewdown 2. Pours a hazed amber with a thin white head. Smells like Reese’s Pieces. Soft peanut butter, warm malt. Loads of peanut butter, malty with a light bitterness and gentle sweetness into the finish. Refreshing to try a peanut butter beer that wasn’t a stout or porter, this was really nice. jtclockwork (16600) - , New Jersey, USA - AUG 17, 2013
UPDATED: AUG 21, 2013 Draft at brewpub. Pours very cloudy tea gold with white head. Nose and taste of peanut butter, peanut butter cookie and light malt. Banana, maybe? Lighter medium bodied. jercraigs (10374) - Toronto, Ontario, CANADA - AUG 25, 2013
2013-08-16. Dark amber body with a small beige head that fades. Awesome peanuty aroma, notes of roast peanuts and fresh peanut butter. 9+ Flavour is similar, with strong roast peanut and peanut butter character. 7+ Smooth average bodied palate with light carbonation. The peanut character dominates over the base beer a lot so you’re enjoyment of the beer will depend how much you like that, but it was surprisingly good to me! Not sure it is particularly repeatable but I enjoyed it. Growler at Campground Brewdown. raymow (1668) - Bensalem, Pennsylvania, USA - AUG 14, 2014
on tap at the brewpub in Bloomsburg - I was pleasantly surprised, this was way better than I expected. It’s actually peanut butter flavored beer - and it’s really good (different, but good).

Poured amber and a bit hazy. A slight sweetness gives the flavor and aroma of fluffernutter on toast. Peanut butter beer sounded really gross but I lliked it a lot especially with the hot wings. Very enjoyable. LilBeerDoctor (3931) - Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, USA - DEC 29, 2012
On tap at the brewpub. Pours a cloudy orange with a thin white head. Aroma of peanut butter, yep! Flavor of peanuts up front followed by a sweet malty finish. Overall, I guess it’s more like a honey roasted peanut ale. Interesting beer- I’ve never had a peanut flavored beer that wasn’t a stout. This one is well done though and drinkable.

Pours a hazy amber with a medium off white head. Aroma has a definite peanut butter note atop malty and slightly toasted notes. Flavor is lightly roasted malts...slight fruitiness and dry leaves...nutty/peanut buttery notes creep in. Mouthfeel is medium and the finish is malty with a peanut butter accent. Damn i love peanut butter in my beer! mabel (9246) - Toronto, Ontario, CANADA - SEP 14, 2014
[5660-20130816] Bottle. Thick dry-roasted peanut butter aroma. Slightly hazy, dark orange body with a quick foamy white head. Peanut butter soup flavour. Medium-full body. Really interesting, but I also quite like peanuts. (7/3/7/4/15) 3.6

Growler at CGBD. Pours orange gold with a thin head. Loads of peanut butter, medium sweetness, and low bitterness. Quick finish and medium body. Like a Shorts beer, they hit the mark with this one, but I’m not sure it’s anything I’d ever want to drink again, despite the fact that it’s rather tasty.
