Clear dark brown color with a average, open and frothy, fair lacing, mostly diminishing, beige head. Aroma is moderate malty, roasted, caramel, butterscotch. Flavor is moderate sweet and bitter with a long duration, berry, caramel, sour, black currant, dark malt. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft to flat.
Tried at the Nottingham Beer Festival 2016. Deep dark brown colour with a thin head. Aroma has rich roasted malt, and slight citrus. Taste slight spice and roasted bitter. Travlr (26948) - Charlotte, North Carolina, USA - OCT 8, 2015
Gravity cask at Nottingham festival day two with fonefan, Charlotte & chriso. Dark cloudy brown. Aroma of buttery shoe leather. Taste is buttery coffee. My pslate isn’t that sensitive to it, but here it overwhelms. ManVsBeer (11474) - Hebden Bridge, West Yorkshire, ENGLAND - MAY 15, 2015
Forever Bury Beer Festival 2015. Black. Light textured but not thin, however its roasted malt is very stated in both its aroma and taste. Has a lingering sweet aftertaste.
