A - Pours a turbid amber orange with a firm off-white head that creates solid lacing.
S - Fresh pungent hops, pine, floral, and grapefruit. You don’t even have to put your nose down to it.
T - Aggressive pine and grapefruit, very raw and fresh. Sweet grainy and caramel malt in the background. The hops turn to strong grapefruit pith but also has a clean citrus infused herb character and finishes quite dry.
M - Medium body, medium carbonation, dry on the finish.
The hops are the highlight here. Very bright and pungent flavors with a nice malt accent underneath. It’s refreshing, delicious and gives you a good hop fix. Get it while it’s fresh!

UPDATED: MAY 30, 2015 12 oz Bottle. Tasted on 5/28/15. Bottle from Moore Liquor. Drank from Spiegal IPA glass. Great floral & citrus notes on the nose followed by a mildly bitter well rounded flavor. Really good pale ale. Stevesie (336) - - JAN 6, 2013
Gorgeous appearance and terrific nose set the stage from another great brew from Marshall. Taste continues with a great combination of hops and citrus. Easy to drink--almost too easy. One of the best Pales I’ve ever had, I wish this was a year-round beer. Travlr (25869) - Charlotte, North Carolina, USA - AUG 21, 2014
Draft at Tanglewood. Hazy golden color, thick tan head with good retention and solid lacing. Nice aroma of pineapple and mango. Taste is bitter tropical fruit. Tasty. askewbrew (25) - Edmond, Oklahoma, USA - AUG 15, 2014
Pours up to a nice buff head that leaves lace and lasts. Hazy orange-amber color. Aroma is hop-forward with earthy, piney, spicy hops and a nice powdery malt backdrop. Flavor mimics nose with a nice crisp, dry finish. Mouthfeel is sort of watery and a bit astringent but passable. Overall a decent quaff with some nice spicy, biscuity notes to make it interesting.

12 oz. Bottle. Pours a slightly hazy dark orange color. Moderate white head that dissipates fairly quickly. Nice strong aroma of sweet citrus and grapefruit. Flavor is sweet caramel up front with a grapefruit hop finish. As a summer seasonal, it’s great. Very easy drinking session beer. Not a hop bomb by any means, but definitely enough there to appeal to hop heads like me. (FWIW, this rating is based on the bottle version. I’ve also had a dry-hopped cask version at McNellies in OKC which was far better.) AmEricanbrew (6878) - Same Trailer, Different Park, Louisiana, USA - NOV 10, 2011

Pours a hazy orange with a medium white head...light sediment throughout...nice lacing and retention. Aroma has nice citrus...some orange...and light tea notes...just a bit of caramel. Flavor has nice bitterness...some spice and citrus...just a bit of butterscotch at the end. Mouthfeel is medium and silky with a bitter, earth finish. topherh (1929) - Kearney, Missouri, USA - JUL 25, 2012
Pours a yellowish amber with a white head. Aroma is citrus, piney, catty hops. Flavor is nice caramel malt base balancing the hops in this one. A little grass and spiciness to go along with the pine and citrus. Art (3219) - Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, USA - JUL 2, 2013
Pours an amber orange with about an inch of white head. There are some suspended solids mixed in the pour but nothing crazy. The aroma is citrusy and refreshing. The effervescence dances on the tongue before the crisp bitterness takes over. Fairly balanced and an easy drinker.
