COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Old Pavilion Pilsner was inspired by Brewmaster Eric Marshall’s time as an apprentice brewer in Germany. Crisp and clean with a distinct and pleasurable hop flavor and aroma, Old Pavilion Pilsner is brewed in the North German “Pils” style. Brewed with American malts, a mixture of American and German hops, and fermented with a German strain of bottom-fermenting lager yeast, this beer is crafted with a deep reverence for one of the world’s most successful beer styles..

Bottle in Tulsa. Straw aroma with grassy citrus notes. Pours pale golden colored with a thin white head and minimal lacing. Starts with grassy citrus and straw flavors and finishes smooth and clean with a bit of peppery flavor. Decent pils.

Bottle into hotel cup, making the most of this work assignment. Bubbly hazy golden color with white head. Aroma of pale malt sweetness, biscuit and citrus/grassy hop note. Taste adds notes of grain, lemon, bread and earthy bitterness. Light body, heavy carbonation, crisp with clean light bitter finish. Quite a tasty pils.

12 oz bottle into a pilsner glass. Pours a hazy yellow, with a thin head that quickly fades, leaving fair lacing. Nose is a faint aroma of hops. Taste is of straw and astringent hops. Over-hopped and not very good.

12oz bottle poured into a tall pilsner glass. Aroma is faint and grainy. Appearance is a hazy straw yellow. Taste is a very refreshing combo of light malt and firm noble hop. Mouthfeel is perfect for the pils. Overall I could drink this all day.

On tap. Pours a clear gold with a white head that dissipates to the edges and laces. Aroma has a real nice grassy hop note with a backing light bread note. Flavor begins with notes of bread and grain that is matched by a nice grassy hop note.

Nice pilsner! Really crisp and clean. Great hop flavor. Always a good beer if it's from Marshall! ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone
