1.9 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 6/20
Dull boring average. No reason to seek this out. Just a big standard English ale. Could be any old pint.
Bottle from Morrisons. Bought during the 2013 series in England, but had to wait its turn to be drunk until now. The Ashes themselves have been both won and lost by my nation since it was purchased. Copper-gold with a thin head. Has a light hoppy nose and taste but manages to remain unspectacular even so. Philym (1003) - St Neots, Cambridgeshire, ENGLAND - JAN 21, 2014
Appearance:Clear amber with 2 finger thick white head.
Aroma: Biscuit, hint of caramel, citrus, grapefruit.
Taste: medium bitterness, low/medium sourness and low sweetness.
Palate: Thick smooth texture, light body, average carbonation, abrupt astringent bitter, citrus, tart, peppery grapefruit finish.
Comments: tasty and glass lace. Reminded me of a saison. fonefan (49293) - VestJylland, DENMARK - DEC 7, 2013

Clear medium yellow colour with a small to average, frothy, fair lacing, mostly diminishing, off-white to white head. Aroma is moderate malty, toasted - caramel, cardboard, light to moderate hoppy, flowers, elderflowers notes. Flavour is moderate sweet and light bitter with a average to long duration, cardboard, thin. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft.
Aroma: Light resin hops, bready, metallic.
Appearance: Clear gold body. Medium, white, mousse-like head. Good lacing.
Initial Flavour: Light bready sweetness, medium bitterness
Finishing Flavour: Light bitterness, light sweetness. Dry finish.
Palate: medium bodied, soft carbonation
Overall: An enjoyable bitter, apart from the metallic hint in aroma.
500 ml bottle, poured. Thanks Andre! jamesie1857 (2150) - Sheffield, South Yorkshire, ENGLAND - SEP 13, 2013
500ml bottle from Morrisons - Red body, white lacing head. Bit of malt and caramel on the nose and taste. Other than that, bland and boring.

50 cl bottle. Pours clear and golden orange with a smallwhite head. Atoma is grassy and toasted malty, light cornish. Bitter, herbal and light spiced. Bitter and dry. Grassy and lingering bitter into the far finish. OwainTurner (425) - Leicester, Bedfordshire, ENGLAND - AUG 3, 2013
Thick cloudylike head, golden colour. Slight hoppy smell, nothing amazing. Smooth, but unbalanced flavour... Sour and unusually bitter. Slight fizz. Smooth like oil. Tastes a lot better when allowed to warm up a little allmyvinyl (10613) - Edinburgh, SCOTLAND - AUG 2, 2013
Pours a golden yellow with good white head. High carbonation. Faint touch of lemon on an otherwise malt toffee nose. Classic biscuity bitter. Some hop bitterness towards the end. Easy drinking. JorgeLee (2116) - Greater London, ENGLAND - JUL 27, 2013
Bottle at the Village. Light golden colour. Fairly standard Marstons beer. If this does have Cascade in it as the bottle suggests then they need to do it more. But it was drinkable enough after a hot day’s play. Beesbeer (452) - WALES - JUL 21, 2013
Cheap bottle in Lidl. Another undistinguished homogenous any old ale. Nothing wrong with it just nothing to remark on. Some hop flavours near the end of drinking through the bottle.
