COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Zingy, smooth and always exceptional. Marston’s EPA is a light blonde ale with subtle citrus flavours and a delicate aftertaste. Now that’s refreshingly different.

Pale gold with a white soapy chemical looking lasting lacy bubbly head. The pasteurisation smells awful. Caramelized malt with pepper and butter. Acidic with faint fruit. Crispy heavily carbonated body, oily and medium body. Tastes like sour and slightly rotten fruit, malt, citrus dry finish. Rotten eggs. and rubber. This is sad.

nephirem (507) - CROATIA - JUN 4, 2017
Bottle, 0.5l. Clear golden pour with one finger soapy white head. Poor retention, good lacing. Malty, herbal nose. Dusty. Earthy hops. Thin to medium body with regular carbonation. Soft texture, smooth drinking. Mildly bitter taste with herbal mouthfeel. Slight tartness developing in the aftertaste. Aroma is mild but pleasant. Hops, both earthy and grassy, good malt character. Herbal, grainy, slightly peppery. Regular finish, slightly dry. Overall, pretty good for the low ABV. Good session beer, refreshing and crisp. Pleasant.

Home 10/5 500ml bottle, purchased from Morrisons in Watford. Fairly so-so, but was only £1.10 a bottle, and for that money not so terrible. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bottle - clear light orange. Medium carbonation giving decent white head. Light, sharp citrus aroma. Slight ting on tongue and in mouth. Bit of a weak finish to taste - threatens more but doesn’t deliver on taste.

Grumpelmies (318) - North Rhine-Westphalia, GERMANY - APR 1, 2017
Bottle. Golden orange with a small nice head. Mild aroma and taste of citrus fruits. Low carbonation. Thin and watery. Refreshing and easy drinking but nothing I would seek out.

2.3
kalkone (23) - BELGIUM - MAR 25, 2017
La bière a un arôme de houblon trop prononcé. Les autres arômes sont effacés.

500ml bottle at home poured into a shaker: golden with a white head that fades to a skim. Eggy and metallic aroma. Custardy biscuit flavour lively carbonation, thin body. Utterly inoffensive and eye-wateringly bland.
