Cask at the Squirrel, Rugby, 17/04/13. Clear pale golden with a well presented off white cap that retains well. Impressive full glass lacing ensues. Nose is full on Burton snatch - sulphurs and eggs, some background malt and grain coming through the stinkbomb! Taste comprises pale malt, light citrus, grass, faint hops, light sugars. Medium bodied, soft carbonation, bitter in the finish. Ok drinkable stuff and this was a very well kept fresh pint definately making the difference from a 2.7/8 to a 3+. Nose was a bit off putting mind!

Cask at the Union, Kingswinford. Pours deep gold with a large head. Aroma is a bit eggy with sulphur. Taste has straw to start with some sulphur on the finish.
