Old Empire is brewed using Optic malt, a subtle and paler grain that will allow other flavours to come through on the palate. Goldings and Fuggles hops are added to this brew, which is then late hopped with the American Cascade variety for extra hop strength.

MasDen (566) - Mogilev, BELARUS - FEB 23, 2018
Caramel, candy, flowor aroma. Amber, clear with small white head. Malt, caramel, flowor in flavor. Light body, dry finish, high carbonation.

dogbomb (1265) - ENGLAND - JAN 29, 2018
Bottle. Clear gold pour with a thick white cloud head. Light nose of slight buttery biscuit and light lemon. Malty in the mouth, with a dry lemon and grass edge. Tangerine, orange and lemon. This is alright.

Syfher (523) - Brussels, BELGIUM - JAN 21, 2018
Bottle of 50cl, in a Pint; from the fridge @Churchill's. Good refreshing bitter ale, with nice colour, correct lasting head. Nothing more to say. Try it ? Why not.

kwik-lime (2165) - London, Greater London, ENGLAND - DEC 28, 2017
Bottle for a Christmas present. Amber colour with a head that doesn't last too well. Nice bitter hops with a little cara el and citrus in the finish. Nice beer, probably a bit better than I was expecting.

bertiebucket (26) - morecambe, Lancashire, ENGLAND - DEC 19, 2017
Served in a straight pint glass, this hoppy English bitter, has full bodied hoppy flavour, with a sweet under tone. Not as many of the new wave of IPA's, but still an enjoyable beer.

p0urmeac0ld0ne (499) - Merthyr Tydfil, WALES - DEC 8, 2017
UPDATED: DEC 8, 2017 Lovely strong, traditional IPA. Very spicy and prominent hop. Reviewing from memory, so no extensive tasting notes.

CanCrusher (1189) - Ilirska Bistrica, SLOVENIA - NOV 27, 2017
Bottle 0,50L. Clear, golden color, low visible carbonation, small, frothy, white head. Malty aroma with some grassy hops. Light to medium bitter taste with malty backbone. Medium body, oily texture, lively carbonation. Just common, mass produced English IPA, nothing outstanding...

deepdrinker (385) - Leeds, ENGLAND - NOV 26, 2017
UPDATED: DEC 8, 2017 Back log rating so no not s in aroma , appearance etc . Just the saved rating from an old book

dimeon (530) - Johannesburg, SOUTH AFRICA - NOV 18, 2017
A: Clear gold with a big white head N: Malty with a hint of bitterness T: Sweet malt upfront, with leafy green bitterness showing through on the back end P: Full O: At first it tastes like a blonde ale, but then the bitterness hits you to remind you that this is an IPA.

panda_brewmaster (235) - Bournemouth, Dorset, ENGLAND - NOV 16, 2017
UPDATED: JAN 29, 2018 Aroma is malt. Taste is malty and crisp with some caramel notes. Cheap and decent commercial ipa.
