7.6% very deep amber with a thin head, sweet fruity aroma, fruity taste with some caramel, very nice beer. Grzesiek79 (4433) - Radom, POLAND - MAR 20, 2012
earthy, grass, hay, butterscotch, bubblegum, alcohol, red, cloudy, minimal head, heavy cloying sweetness, medium bitterness, lightly sour, medium body, slick feel, soft carbonation, long finish, CEZ (420) - Milano, ITALY - OCT 17, 2003
Strong with caramel (and quite strong in alcohol, for an old ale), rich with warm flavors (fruits, roasted malt). Balanced and delicious; my favorite Marston's to date. It's good to see that they put at least this one in a DARK bottle!
