Bottle. Clear dark brown / black color with a average frothy good lacing fully lasting light brown head. Aroma is light to moderate malty, coffee / mocca, roasted, light chocolate. Flavor is moderate sweet and bitter with a average duration. Body is light to medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft to flat. Pleasure to drink but it looks as if it will be with more flavor.. yespr (46567) - Copenhagen O, DENMARK - NOV 20, 2007

Bottle at home ... Deep black off white head ... sweet roast malt ... Decent beer but its over fizzy which ruins it (hence 1 for palate) Decent enough roast malt stout. omhper (25372) - Tyresö, SWEDEN - APR 14, 2003
Bottled. Black with beige head. Vague coffee aroma. Light bodied, roasty and sweet. The mouthfeel is thin and sharp, and the finish drier and with a hint of metal. Better than any other Marston I can think of, but still I have a hard time enjoying this beer. Papsoe (25060) - Frederiksberg, DENMARK - NOV 22, 2005
