2.9 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Bottle. A dark brown beer with a long lasting beige head. Aroma is malty, chocolate and coffee. Taste is malty , bittersweet, coffee, chocolate, roasted. Dry and bitter finish. Nice texture.
Aroma of chocolate, a crusted bread, steamed grain. Dark, non-exotional with a small foam. In taste burnt barley, fried crust of black bread. Light carbonization, medium carbonization, slightly watery. Dry finish. d260005p (6) - Stoke On Trent, Staffordshire, ENGLAND - NOV 18, 2017 does not count
OK beer - had on tap not bottle so probably better that way. Pitch black appearance, small tanned head. Smokey aroma typical with a stout. Smooth on the palate, minimal carbonation, OK aftertaste. At £2 odd a pint I'm not complaining. Always finish with a half at my local on the way home. It is what it is, not special but I've certainly had worse. Not sure on the bottle conditioned version as I've not had it. rotaman14 (741) - Wiesbaden, GERMANY - OCT 29, 2017
"Dark - Rich - Smooth"? More like bland, watery and disappointing. Very little taste of any sort at all. Considering that this cost more than 2,50 EUR where I live, this was a major disappointment. geolgau (512) - Cluj-Napoca, ROMANIA - OCT 26, 2017
Faint aroma of roastiness and stale coffee. Some roasted malts, no oysters whatsoever, but there's some toasted bread. Watery, easy to drink. Meh, okay-ish. ciocanelu (2993) - Timisoara, ROMANIA - OCT 23, 2017
Really dark brown color with tan head. Aroma is really faint, just some toasted malt and dark bread notes. Taste has roasted malts, slightly ashy, burnt bread crust and a hint of bitter chocolate. Light to medium body and carbonation. Really easy drinking stout.

The bottle is better than it tastes. Tastes more like a pilsner than a stout.

A bottle labelled as 'Pearl Jet' from Jason's near NCCU, drunk at home. Aroma: freshly shaved wood. Appearance: hazy cola, 1-2 mm. tan lacing. Palate: light-bodied, rather thin and dry with average carbonation, yet pleasingly complex finish. Taste: well-balanced medium sweet and bitter, liquorice, wood. Tasty, though I prefer something with a bigger kick. caribou43 (1213) - Lausanne/Sevilla/Lima, SWITZERLAND - OCT 10, 2017
I picked up this bottle at the Alcampo in Sevilla. I tried it yesterday at home in the Cerro del Aguila. In my point of view, I was a bit disappointed about this beer. I waa expecting something with more personnality. First of all, the body is as usual splendid with a deep dark body, white and brown foam, the carbonation is a bit lower than usual. The taste is really bland and watery, few roasted malt, few aromas in general and dry, oyster is not present, mineral, so-so. civilhorker (28) - Split, CROATIA - OCT 5, 2017
