500ml Bottle. This pours a clear amber with a medium white head that lasts the distance. Its aroma is yeast, and citrus. its taste is citrusy with hints of caramel and a slightly smokey dry bitter finish that you get with Belgian yeasts. And thats a key point missed by the naming of this beer. Its a BELGAIN SAISON.. and quite frankly the best Belgian Saison Ive tasted so far outside of Belgium!

Bottle. Golden in colour. Decent white head. Fruity; citrus, light orange. Mildly yeasty. Malty; some wheat. Hoppy; floral and slightly herbal hops. Bitter-sweet fruity malty and quite dry throughout. Not a saison; but an OK easy drinking beer. (2014-08-07)

*Bottle in Ireland from Tesco in Letterkenny. The beer starts grainy and sessionable. Easy to drink, nice malty with a few funky parts. Not bad.

Huismerk van de Tesco, was goedkoop. Pilsig uiterlijk. Ruikt naar zo’n hop waarvan ik de geur niet super vind. Smaakt best ok. Hoppig, fris.

Bottle at home. Pours golden with a quickly disappearing head. Aroma of yeast, apples, malt and flowers. Same thing in flavour with an addition of some spicy notes. Doesn’t feel like a saison at all but overall isn’t too bad.

Bottle from Tesco. Clear golden to copper with a medium white head. Aroma of malt, grain, light citrus notes, toffee and floral notes. Flavour is light to moderate sweet and bitter. Above light bodied with moderate carbonation.

It’s a tasty beer. It’s very floral on the nose. I think it would have been far better if they didn’t filter it. It’s good but just doesn’t feel like a saison.

Clear golden color with white foam. Aromas on the weak side of hops and hints of caramel in a way bit acidic. Palate, light, bit watery, with bit of carbonation present more than usual, has medium bitter/dry finish. Taste, Malty, with hint of hops and mainly dry aftertaste, very simple and weak. Overall would I say it is a nice beer? Maybe. Is it a nice Saison? No.

ManVsBeer (10946) - Hebden Bridge, West Yorkshire, ENGLAND - OCT 8, 2015
Bottle from Tesco, Brighouse. Pale golden-amber with next to no head. Has a sweetened character with an underlying fruitiness. Slightly active in the palate with a small fizz, it’s also has a crispness.

Hippoman (646) - Durham, ENGLAND - SEP 14, 2015
500ml Bottle from Tesco, Gilesgate, Durham. Pinkish orange in colour with lots of bubbles but no real head retention. Nose is sweet, malty and banana estery. Flavours similar with sweet malt are prominent, with some cereal, bubblegum, peach, caramel and malted milk biscuit. Finish is somewhat dry but overall its too sweet for my liking although not an inherently bad beer.

Quack-Duck (9533) - Down South, GERMANY - SEP 5, 2015
bottle from Tesco Newton Abbot. Hazy pale yellow with a tall and fluffy white head. Aroma of apples and citrus fruit. Light-bodied, shy wheaty malty flavours with apples and citrus fruit. Spices in the background. Surprisingly good!
