Bree Louise. Light haze on this gold beer, residual white head. Palate is smooth but low carbonation. Semi dry. A little grain in the otherwise smooth pale malt. Mild but decent Amarillo - orange with a light floral slant. Finishes smooth with sweeter fresh orange coming through. Pretty drinkable.
UPDATED: JUL 6, 2013 Golden with a smooth head. Has a full tropical fruity character with orange notes in both aroma and taste. DruncanVeasey (8283) - Nr NUNEATON, Warwickshire, ENGLAND - JUN 8, 2013
Cask handpull, The Felix, Nuneaton, 08/06/13. Pale yellow with a bright white tuft of foam. Fragrant grapefruit, lemon zest, passion fruit, stewed tea, grass and raw aubergine (?) aroma. Lovely stewed tea and dunked biscuit base overlaid with lychee, lemon and dragonfruit notes. Marstons (well, Banks’s) have really got their shit together with this single hop series. maeib (8749) - Wootton, Northampton, Northamptonshire, ENGLAND - JUN 4, 2013
Cask conditioned handpump Navigation Nottingham 31/05/1 An oranget gold coloured beer with a white head. Decent hops in this. Nice peachy taste. The initial aroma is also good hops but there’s a rubbery element coming thorugh which spoils a little. It’s pretty good though and shows what can be done with a little effort.

Cask @ the bok bar, marylebone. Gold with a froth white head. Nose is piss, earth, grapes, sugar cookies. The taste is quite Bready. Sweet summer fruits and honey. Quite smooth, light body. Solid I guess. RichTheVillan (8248) - Birmingham, West Midlands, ENGLAND - MAY 23, 2013
Cask at JDW Bishop Vesey; clear amber pour with foam white head, floral hop aroma, taste is malts first then a a sweet floral hop with a citric aftertaste, what I’ve had from the Marston single hop has been OK. berkshirejohn (6655) - Bracknell, Berkshire, ENGLAND - MAY 13, 2013
Cask at the Stag and Hounds, Binfield. Straw coloured with a ring of white head and an oily looking surface; the aroma is citrusy and leafy; sweet floral taste with some biscuity malts; and a fruity bitterness to follow. A light and inconsequential summer beer, with only the faintest hint of the power of Amarillo hops.
