imdownthepub (15161) - Banbury, Oxfordshire, ENGLAND - JUL 21, 2012
Cask conditioned at The Dukes Cut, Oxford. Gold with white head. There was a thick honeyed flavour to this, caramel then a blackberry note. Heavyish on the palate, lasting.

Cask at Wellington, Birmingham
Golden color. Mild aroma, light bread. Light body and mouthfeel; light caramel flavor; dryish finish.
The single hop is not really shining.

Cask. Light golden with a thin, but tight, white head. Nose is light citrus and light summer berries - strawberry. A little wheat. Initial mouthfeel is quite watery, quite peppery and spicy, can pick out some plummy tastes, vine fruits and berry citrus. Sadly, the bitterness is a bit overpowering here and the finish is slightly underwhelming.

Very interesting beer, tried it at Cross Keys nr Middlesbrough. Initially looks like a wheat beer but settles into a golden beer with a slight citrus taste.

kwoeltje (2233) - Manchester, Missouri, USA - JUN 28, 2012
(cask London) dark gold with white head. Floral hops and caramel malt in aroma and flavor. Hops were floral/grassy.

Cask conditioned handpump Althorp Coaching Inn Great Brington 15/06/12. A golden coloured beer with a white head and lacing. A bit of spicy hop and biscuity malt in the nose. A bit tired in the mouth although that might be the Marstons sulphur. A touch of lemon. Not a hop showcase.

Cask @ Cafe Royal, Edinburgh 220612
Amber, clear, no head, static carb
Aroma - slight hint of fruit malt, dull nose
Taste - Very light caramel malts, cereals, bitter slight fruity hop, touch of spicy hops, all a bit vague, dull
Palate - soft carb, thin body, dry. Finish - bland, bitter, dry, hint of cereal
Overall - Meh, boring, not impressed with this at all

Cask by handpump at Café Royal, Edinburgh (18 Jun 12) - marginally hazy golden amber ale, huge creamy white head, fruity floral hop aroma, bit cold, fruity with a hint of citrus, smooth, very easy to drink

cgarvieuk (25744) - Edinburgh, SCOTLAND - JUN 18, 2012
cask at beehive ... light hazy ... light amber ... nice white head ... light herbal hop ... light zezty nose... light fruits ... little dull and bitter

fairwater (146) - Reading, Berkshire, ENGLAND - JUN 4, 2012
Cask @ The George. Pours mid-light amber with small tight head. Slightly yeasty grassy nose. Taste is a bit unusual, but I can’t decide what, don’t think much stands out. Smooth mouth-feel, didn’t notice a sparkler but feels like one was used. Ok, but nothing special.
