Bottle from my local Morrisons. Gold with a medium white head. Aroma hasn’t got much going on, some bleach and chlorine, flavour has some hops, creaminess, bit of metal. Didn’t hate it or anything but found it very average. johndoughty (5566) - cheslyn hay, West Midlands, ENGLAND - DEC 28, 2013
Bottle. Golden with a small head. Slightly bitter with some subtle presence of hops.. Not a show stopper but close to being a reasonable beer. viktorvee (510) - Greater London, ENGLAND - JUL 26, 2013
Quite a tasty light ale. Nothing jumps out particularly, but a decent beer for the summer. maeib (8749) - Wootton, Northampton, Northamptonshire, ENGLAND - FEB 8, 2013
UPDATED: MAR 30, 2013 Bottled 01/02/13. A golden coloured beer with a whitish head. Farty in the nose with light fruits. A fusty eggy over pasteurized mouth. Pretty basic and totally screwed by the pasteurization. Poor. Score 2.6 ManVsBeer (10973) - Hebden Bridge, West Yorkshire, ENGLAND - FEB 7, 2013

Pale golden in colour and very well hopped, but pleasantly so with a great balance between fruitiness and bitterness.

500ml bottle from b&m average at best. better than most macro beer( and i rate marstons quite highly) but hardly amazing. id not search it out again but im happy to have given it a go SarkyNorthener (4915) - West Bromwich (Yorkshire Expat), West Midlands, ENGLAND - NOV 8, 2012
Bottle. Morrisons. Pale copper colour, small residual head. Hop aroma, slight floral notes. Taste is of floral hops, slightly sweet. A bitterish finish but short. An OK beer. Martin243 (1230) - Tyne & Wear, ENGLAND - OCT 27, 2012
500ml bottle from B&M, poured into a large chalice, golden amber with a white disappating head. Lemon pledge aroma, citrussy flavour. Better than I expected, a nice rounded golden ale that was better than I expected, and a bargain at 99p a bottle. JohnCook101 (535) - - OCT 19, 2012
500ml bottle. Medium to pale golden pour with substantial lasting head. Sharp and slightly metallic aroma. Slight sweetness to begin leads to light maltiness and a moderate bitter finish. Easy drinking and perfectly pleasant but not particularly characterful of complex. DruncanVeasey (8326) - Nr NUNEATON, Warwickshire, ENGLAND - OCT 18, 2012
UPDATED: OCT 22, 2012 Bottle from B&M. Bright gold with a generous, well-behaved white foam. Muted lemon and pastry aroma like a lemon curd tart; just-plucked dandelion as it warms. Soft and vaguely coniferous with egg custard, grassy and almond hints. Touch of astringency on the swallow. Drinks like about 50 of the vaguely lemony, oaty-sweet cask Church End GAs I’ve sampled to date. Not as good as the Marynka but still a decent pasteurised (?) GA.
