Cask conditioned at Charlies. Golden colorured. Fruity aroma. Sweet fruity flavour with notes of old mature fruits. Light to medium bodied. Not really good. Max1972 (10) - ENGLAND - DEC 8, 2006
I disagree with the other comment on this beer. My pint was neither cloudy nore lacking head. Instead this golden goloured ale was full of flavour and in no way gave the impression it was a 6.2%. You could probably drink it as if it were 4%. A lovely pint and I don’t usually say that about the large commercial brewers. KnutAlbert (6754) - Oslo, NORWAY - DEC 6, 2006
Handpump. Cloudy brown, small head, small bubbles. Lots of dried fruit, prunes, apricots. Some flowery hops joining in. Warming alcohol finish. Good, but not great.
