Bottled, pasteurised, 660ml. Gold colour with fast disapearing white bubbly head. A hot baking day at work, why not go home to a big bottle of cold lager? I’ll tell you why, this stuff is not very good. Sweet and soapy I would describe it as, like British pub lager. This is the sort of beer that will get Belgium a bad name. Bottle, Sainsburys Kidlington. Gold in colour, large white fluffy head, sweet, some hops and malt but ultimately very forgettable. downender (8774) - Bristol, Gloucestershire, ENGLAND - MAR 10, 2008
Bottle from Sainsburys. Golden colour with a slight white head and moderate carbonation. Sweet malt aroma with a touch of hay. Flavour was also sweet with a decent dry finish. Not bad for a lager. maeib (8749) - Wootton, Northampton, Northamptonshire, ENGLAND - JUL 29, 2007
Bottled. A yellow gold coloured lager with a white head. The aroma is pretty nasty grassiness and notes of cabbage water and can be smelt from quite a distance. The taste is fairly bitter but there’s a bit of a sweet metal. Not the type of beer I think of when I think of Belgium. DruncanVeasey (8260) - Nr NUNEATON, Warwickshire, ENGLAND - MAY 22, 2007
Sniffs of grass and beeswax. Yellowish pale gold with a thinning white head. Cheap malt graininess and metal. Astringently bitter finish. Drinking rainwater from a rusty tuna tin.

500ml bottle from Sainsburys. Pale straw in colour, vaguely grassy aroma; a fluffy white head; a sweet flavour with a metallic edge; doen’t deserve the "premium" tag. johndoughty (5521) - cheslyn hay, West Midlands, ENGLAND - AUG 13, 2007
Not a strong lager but slightly better than I had expected. A bit tinny which was worrying as it was from a bottle. Some bitterness and not really that offensive-just not one to try again. DanielBrown (4528) - Birmingham (via Leicester), West Midlands, ENGLAND - MAR 5, 2004
Bottle from Metro Wines, Syston, Leicester. A mysterious item - with only an importer listed - no brewer or any information... Smells nice - quite dry and salty. Unfortunately the aroma is not a good indicator: it does not taste too good. Thin, one-dimensional and heavily metallic. It finishes like you're licking a stone fireplace. Gold with a lasting white head. Faint malt aroma. Sweet roasted malt taste with some bitterness. Better than some of its kind, but not very wonderful. rauchbier (3923) - Isle Of Beer, Lincolnshire, ENGLAND - JUN 7, 2003
Bottled. Pale gold colour, good lasting thin white head and moderate condition. Some hop and malt aromas, thin and malty in the the mouth and short and chalky in the finish with traces of hop bitterness.
