500ml can from the BO. Pale yellow pour, small qu ickly dissapearing head. Aroma of cheap malts, corn, wet cardboard. Flavor is corny sweet, wet grass. Soft dry finish, boring, and cheap.

Can - 500ml. Pale blond body with a fair white foamy head. Average malty/hoppy aroma with bready and grassy hints. Its ordinary taste is slightly dominated by hoppy flavors. Ends with a short bitter/herbal finish. Boring Pilsner.

Canette de 500ml. Bière dorée avec une mousse blanche, elle de de fines bulles. Le nez est malté plus que houblonnée. La bouche est sucrée, elle manque de mordant. Elle est trop commerciale et sucrée à mon goût.

MrManning (2009) - Hamilton, Ontario, CANADA - JUL 3, 2011
Can from the LCBO- Pale sparkling gold, with a tiny white head. Simple nose of pale malts, some biscuit, lemongrass. Sweet and grainy, a bit of grassy bitterness. Very quick finish, light bodied. Good for the price.

500 ml.

Pours a clear straw yellow with a big frothy white head. Aroma is grainy with a small hop profile. Taste is dry hop profile with a nice grain/grassy malt. Solid pilsner.

czar (9172) - Québec, Quebec, CANADA - JUN 23, 2011
pours a clear bright golden with a decent and slightly rocky white head, little retention. cereals, some light grassy hops, malt structure is ok, cardboard. aggressive carbonation, light body.

Not worth going into detail. This beer while drinkable is totally forgettable. Well below Belgium standards.

probstblueribbon (3791) - Nepean, Ontario, CANADA - JUN 7, 2011
500 ml can from LCBO, served cold in a tulip glass.

App.: Clear golden with a decent white head. Aroma: Faintly metallic, some grassy hops, weak cereals/grains, that’s about it. Palate: Medium body, fine effervescence. Flav.: Wet cardboard and weak cereal/grain, much less hops (not that there was much on the nose to begin with), still a touch metallic, boring; dry with a little bitterness and a fairly lacklustre finish, a touch of fruity malt and a touch of metallic note.

Certainly not Belgium’s best.

Spab (3905) - Toronto, Ontario, CANADA - MAY 28, 2011
500 ml can from LCBO. Pours a clear golden colour with average-sized white head. Flavour has some grassy hops and bland grains. Flavour is sweet grains and some light grassy hops. Nothing terrible but totally forgettable.
