Pours perfectly pale with a tight white head and nice lacing on the glass.

The aroma strikes a balance between that terrible breakfast cereal malt and some nice bright malt. Its got some mild herbal hops in there as well.

The flavor isnt bad, it retains some decent herbal character. There is some defendant tinniness to it & more breakfast cereal than I would prefer. There is however some decent bright maltiness. Certainly one of the best Belgian interpretations of pale lager Ive had.

Palate is lively and sharp.

Richmond 21st. Clear yellow, slight head. Aroma was skunky, from a can???, light honey malts, faint floral hops. Flavor matches, sweeter than expected. So-so.

500 mL can. Nice looking beer; darkish gold with a nice, rocky, white head. The aroma isfairly typical for a cheap pilsner, and not particularly appealing. The flavour is a tad on the sweet side. Meh.

M.A. 28-05-15 (1189-150814)

Can. Pours a very nice gold with a high, fine-grained, pillowy, lacy head. Nose is bread, apple, a touch of metal. Mildly sweet on the tongue, with just a touch of roastiness and a bit of a fennel or anise-like herbal note. Finish is clean. Pretty tasty for just plain drinkin beer.
