COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Hell Below is a deceiving new brew that spawned from the depths of the dark mind of Head Brewer, Cody Martin. This strong black ale is brewed with black barley malts and Columbus hops. The malts gives it that pitch black appearance and a dark, ominous flavor.

Pretty tasty. Roasted coffee. Tastes and pours like a porter. Dark black liquid with tan head.

12oz can. Pours a completely opaque black; audible fizziness produces a quickly disappearing brownish-white head with virtually no lacing left on the glass. Aroma of light bitter coffee with some sweet caramel notes; taste is the reverse – mostly sweet caramel and chocolate characteristics with some raisin/plum hints, a little hop bitterness on the back. The fizziness of the pour actually leaves remarkably little noticeable carbonation... very smooth, somewhat oily mouthfeel. Pretty tasty beer, the relatively high alcohol content does not detract from its easy drinkability.

Pours black with a tiny tan head that fades fast. Roast aroma towards chocolate but not super strong. Flavor is really nice. It’s a light sweetness that’s super drinkable. Light bodied balances well.

Can: Pours black with a small tan cap. Prune, raisin, chocolate aroma. Sweet chocolate malt, caramel malt flavour.... A mild alcohol warmth...rather creamy.......almost a peppery-burn aftertaste.....and spicy licorice...... Rich and smooth.

Can. Pours a very dark black color. Light brown head that fades. Dark chocolate aroma, roasted malt, brown sugar. Sense of the alcohol on the nose. Flavor is sweet chocolate upfront, with roasted notes and malt behind. Hint of char. Alcohol warmth over the palate, but not unpleasant. Roasted finish. Malt forward but a bit of new world hops come through.
